Great house, close to town

The house was just as described, close to town and in a quiet area! The house was clean and perfect for a quick weekend get away with family! We also loved how easy of a drive it was to Hoodoo Mtn.

FENCED IN BACKYARD!!!! DOGS HAD A GREAT TIME!! It was so nice to have a yard to playball in and relax on patio. Really nice updated house. Had everything we needed. Great location!

Great Location!

This home is beautiful and perfect for those with doggos! Huge backyard and great patio. The home is equipped with anything you might need during your stay. We were close to town and strolled into town each day to explore, shop and eat.

Great location and is very spacious. The house was beautiful and a perfect place for the areas we visited. I would not stay here if you are uncomfortable with pets being allowed on the furniture. The furniture catered to pets. An upgrade to the towels and linens would have upgraded my review to a 4. The upstairs was warm as the central air seemed to not be able to cool down the area, however, we were staying during an excessive heat wave that is unusual for the area.

The code didn't work after first entry(the front door lock was broken). We had to leave property unlocked when out. 2 of our party stayed in when we left for the day to the falls. The hot tub didn't work. They cleaned it on last day and we couldn't use it. Not good communication about garage door code. We figured it out last day. They should just send it with door code. Not enough seating in living room. Sleeps 8, we had 5 in our group. The house could use a deep cleaning but overall the house was clean.

Great House But Could Use a Little TLC

This is a nice house. Maybe 5-10 years old and built of good quality materials. I appreciate that it is pet friendly - that is one reason we rented it. But, the carpet was dirty and smelled of pet urine. The kitchen countertops were not clean - grease, dried on food particles and dirt. We cleaned the countertops before we unloaded our groceries. The kitchen was lacking aluminum foil and plastic wrap - standard kitchen stock items. Towels were thin, white low-end motel quality. TVs worked well as did internet. We had difficulty locking the front door. The door jam was out of alignment and required the handle to be tugged in order for the locking mechanism to lock. Had a few frustrating hours trying to get it to work after contacting Vacasa. The next day the local manager texted us with this tip. Why don't you just fix the door so it operates correctly? We were notified a few hours before our rental that the upstairs shower was not working and that it would be fixed in 3 days. That meant four adults sharing one shower for the 4 day stay. Vacasa said they would give us a $500 credit due to this problem. They screwed up - I had to call 5 times before it was finally in their system. This was our first experience with Vacasa management and I was not impressed. I did not like the "Live Chats" with Vacasa - not helpful. Customer service reps are very pleasant but don't seem particularly competent.

The house and property is huge. We stayed with our two adult children and everyone had their own room. The living room was perfect for hanging out with our family pup, who felt right at home. The kitchen is really nicely stocked with cooking utensils and basics. The huge fenced yard right off the living room was great for letting the pup in and out. A great place to stay.
