"The hosts were cordial, the home felt warm and airy, the art on the walls was pleasant to view (my wife is an artist), the view of the mountains was great, the pond and fountain were pleasing to look at, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We appreciate the Keurig coffee maker, and we also brought our 12-cup coffee maker. The instructions in the white book were clear. The home felt clean and crisp. One evening was cool enough for us to use the fireplace, and it generated a lot of heat in a few minutes. The recliners were comfortable. If we return to Sisters, we would be pleased to stay here again. Thanks, Robyn"

"Husband was awakened @ 3am then again later in am, plus again in afternoon, actually several times after that, by a high pitch whistling noise that came from the bathroom area. We did notify management, and they said notice was sent to the general manager. This noise ony seem to subside if you flushed the toilet ??? Outside pool could have been maintained better, lots of floating pine needles in it. The hot tub was hot but there was no obvious way to find where the controls were to turn on the jets. Otherwise a good stay."

"I have never left a less than positive review for a vacation rental. This will be a first, unfortunately. I’ve given management/owners ample opportunity to respond to my recent experience but have had zero response. Bottom line, could be a nice property with an amazing location and a lot of potential. However, it has clearly fallen into poor upkeep and terrible management. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience that added unnecessary stress to our stay. I should have more carefully read between the lines on previous reviews, Grand Welcome management is downright awful.To summarize:Check in info was never sent (as previous guests noted).Had to call day of to try and get info.The master bathroom shower head was barely functioning, especially if the other bathroom shower was running which lowered water pressure even more. (Previous guests had mentioned this but clearly nothing was done)Wet towels were left in the washing machine with the door closed, presumably for a long time. The washer was rancid and unusable. The stench permeated the unit.There was food left open in the pantry (bags of chips, rotten marshmallow, etc.) Black and brown mold in master bathroom.Master bedroom TV didn’t work.These items were reported via phone call/text. 12 hours to respond. Shower fixed night before check out. 2 days later.I also emailed Grand Welcome and had two phone calls promising a response and possible refund. Still haven’t heard a thing. Beyond disappointed. "
