"The impression on the initial entry into the building is ok but each step further in the building got worse and worse. We were there to watch the Tour de France so the location was excellent for that, but everything else was AWFUL. No sheets available on the filthy beds, no bath towels just 2 disgusting kitchen towels that were stained so badly it was hard to tell if they had been cleaned. Keep looking elsewhere because this place is not good."

Idéalement situé, même si le stationnement reste compliqué (surtout en période de vacances), une fois la voiture garée, tous les commerces sont à proximité. Le logement est près des télécabines (seul accès aux pistes). L’arrivée et le départ se fait facilement et en toute autonomie, grâce à bon explication de l’hôte, très attentionné. "

"The first thing I have to mention is the excellent staff. Every one of them was polite, attentive and helpful and communicated well in spite of the language barrier. I didn’t speak a word of French but they did their best to communicate in English and they did a great job. Garden and City has lots of common spaces to hang around after a hard day of hiking. Most lodgings in Cauterets do not have common spaces. Rooms were clean, beds were comfy. There is an in-house laundromat. Located in the center of town. Pricing was reasonable. I would highly recommend this place."

"Great breakfast buffet. Friendly staff. Clean rooms that provides practically everything you need for your stay at Lourdes. Literally a few minutes walk to the Basilica and Groto gate entrance with absolutely no need for transportation to those sites. Will absolutely stay there again if lucky enough to return."

"Stop searching and book this hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Great location. The Lourdes gate is .4 miles away. You want to book room 504 or 505. These rooms have a lovely patio that is on the west side of the hotel so there is no morning sun. And there is no traffic noise either. The only negative is that the inclusive breakfast was not great. But you can easily find a bakery and spend 4 euro for two people and have a French pastry."
