This property is located on an island and is accessible only by boat. Guests must contact the resort 1 day in advance to arrange transport from Jebel Dhanna Jetty, which is 20 minutes away by boat. Daily departure from Jebel Dhanna Jetty to Sir Bani Yas Island: noon, 3 PM, 6 PM, and 11 PM. Daily departure from Sir Bani Yas Island: 9 AM, 1 PM, 4 PM, and 8 PM. Resort is a little tired. Disappointing to be checked in to a room where the outside area had not been cleaned. Used cigarettes and matches littering the floor. Furniture marked and tired in the room. Staff very friendly and good service, food mediocre for the price. Safari excellent, staff knowledgeable and great to see the efforts being made around conservation. Overall relaxing stay, but some minor downsides that could very easily be rectified.

Good but not great

Overall the experience was satisfactory. The staff were very friendly and helpful as you would expect from a resort like this. Al Yamm was short-staffed for check-in and in the evenings at the bar and restaurant. Our pool was infested with ants so couldn't use it. We did complain and they sent someone to clean but after an hour or so they were back which was a shame. When sitting outside for dinner, the lamppost hadn't been unwrapped which made an annoying noise in the wind. Just felt like the resort was not as good as it should be.

Magical escape from modern stress

We had a mesmerizing stay in Anantara Al-Yamm resort. The idea of combining both beach & safari excursions is extraordinary. Service & food is what you expect from Anantara’s brand. 2 bedroom villa is spacious & recomanded for families/group trips. After many trips to the maldives, we could see the resemblance in Al Yamm resort between both places. Will definitely be back.

Nice, relaxing, expensive, but incredible island

My respect for the leadership of the UAE reached a new level after this trip - the late Sheikh Zayed was a true visionary - the variety of animals being bred (including endangered species that have been reintroduced to their countries) is eye opening. The service is good and staff is friendly. Good breakfast. A lot of activities for children. There is an old UAE Majlis there that has not been opened to the public - they need to turn it into a museum. Go prepared to spend money. No alternatives available for meals (and no kitchen!!) so you have to eat at the resorts. I hope that the Anantara is using some of that money for island upkeep and animals. All of this being said, there is a lot more untapped potential. Room also didn't feel as bit as advertised (maybe patio included in calculation?) - but I could be wrong.

2ベッドヴィラに宿泊しました。室内の広さ、インテリア、またプライベートプール付きのシービューのテラスなど、感動したのですが、居室の強烈な匂いに辟易しました。ホテル側に確認したところ、アラブ人好みの香りであるがお気にめさない方も時々いらっしゃるとのこと。応急処置にはミントのスプレーをしてもらい、まずまず耐えられるようになりましたが、やはり朝まで嫌な匂いが残りました。そこが非常に残念です。

Too expensive, but nice anyway

We spent two nights at al Yamm, nice villa with a "pool". I wouldn't call that a pool, as it was too small to call it that. I believe the resort is understaffed since things come to you slow.. I advise brining your snorkeling equipments with you as the ones there are over-used and unusable. The food in the three resorts is okay, they are trying hard, I believe it would take them a few decades to reach the Maldives experience.

Amazing stay

Had the most amazing stay at this resort, 100% recommend anyone thinking of coming here to go ahead and book! We experienced only the highest service, all the staff are friendly and go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need and more. The villa itself was very nice and private and the nature drive is definitely not to be missed.

Absolut entspannter Urlaub

Wir genossen einen traumhaften Aufenthalt in einer Villa mit Lunge Pool (Wasser sehr warm, keine wirkliche Abkühlung). Direkt aus dem Bett ein wundervoller Blick aufs Meer, wer Ruhe und Entspannung such ist hier genau richtig. Private Sonnenliegen mit Strandtüchern und ein Sonnenschirm haben uns direkt zum Nichtstun animiert. Service und Personal waren durchweg zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit, jeder Wunsch wurde uns erfüllt. Allerdings sollten die Auflagen der Liegen und Kissen im Restaurant mal gereinigt oder erneuert werden. Hässliche Flecken und tote Insekten haben in so einem Haus nichts zu suchen. Auch den wunderschönen SPA im Nachbarhotel haben wir genutzt und ausgiebig genossen. Läuft alles unkompliziert, Buchung über die Rezeption und zur vereinbarten Zeit steht ein Shuttle vor der Tür. In den beiden anderen Hotels kann man auch Abends gut essen, ebenfalls bequem mit dem Shuttle erreichbar. Kurzum ein gelungener Urlaub an welchen wir gern zurück denken werden.

A strange place but worth a visit...

We spent 5 nights on the Island the week after the F1 in Abu Dhabi and, as hoped for, had a peaceful and relaxing time. It is about a 3 hour drive from AD and well worth arranging their private transfer - we had a jag and a smooth safe driver! The crossing is about 30 minutes by boat and was fine, even in relatively rougher weather coming back it was still an OK crossing... The Villas are nice to be in and have everything you could wish for. Room service was great and very fast.
