Hotel Royal Ariston

10/10 Excellent

"Would return tomorrow to this hotel, everything was amazing, breakfast and dinner options were great, pools and sun beds relaxed and available and staff were very helpful. Hotel was spotless, very high standard. Nice walk along the bay to town and very easy to navigate to old town and boat trips. Recommend a trip to the cave bar on the walk to town."

"Staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was cleaned every time we indicated it needed to be cleaned via the door sign. Cleaning staff was understanding and cool so my wife and I give big props to them. Dining and drinks were a bit expensive inside the hotel, which was expect, but it gives you a reason to go out exploring and spend the money around the city. Even with the hotel being at the end of the strip it is still a manageable walk (20-25mins) to get to beach/shopping/dining area. Bus to Old Town was frequent and consistent, we used that a lot during out stay. Pools and beach at the hotel were very nice to chill out at before going out for the night. Would recommend for a nicer stay for a special occasion."

"We stayed for 8 nights and overall had a very enjoyable stay. The hotel is new, modern and in a good location. Our room had a lovely balcony, and the air conditioning throughout the hotel was excellent. The breakfast buffet was one of the highlights, with a fantastic selection and everything you could imagine. The rooftop pool area is also lovely, with a bar and restaurant. The food was very good, although service could be quite slow as the same staff seemed to serve both the pool and restaurant. Drinks were expensive and unfortunately the beer was never properly cold. The concierge service was disappointing. We asked about day trips and boat tours but were mainly told that everything would require a full day. We eventually booked independently outside the hotel and found options that suited us much better. The sauna is great, but having to book it in advance was frustrating. Reception told us it was fully booked one day, but when we went directly to the spa, it was actually empty and we were able to use it. Overall, a beautiful hotel with excellent facilities and breakfast, but the service and organisation could be improved."
