Up to the standard of other Ibis hotels I have stayed at. Reliable for good value for money. he reception was helpful an load me an electrical adaptor which was very useful for a short stay in Switzerland.

Helpful and friendly check-in. Lovely, quirky and modern decor. Very comfy bed and medium-soft pillows. Delicious food in the restaurant and the chef kindly adapted a dish to my food allergies. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Nice hotel in Sion
It was close to the venue I was going to, so it was convenient for us anyway. Some staffs could not speak English, but we managed somehow!

Not a horrible place, but far from perfect.
I can de with a dated hotel, and I don’t need much. My main issues here are ones that could be easily solved: 1) construction on the building was happening adjacent to our room and was unbelievably loud. 2) they could easily make the room a little more livable if they invested the 20 bucks to add a hot water pot and some cups. Instead, you have to walk to the service desk, ask for hot water and then carry a cup of hot water back up the stairs. The location is okay, not within walking distance of the main town area, but near a pretty cool brewery. The hotel itself is pretty dated and 80s looking, exceedingly average in terms of comfort. The stairwell, however, smells bad. Not a horrible place, but far from perfect. Especially because some of the problems could be fixed with a little attention.

The hotel is a good 20 minute walk from station. Facilities, staff and good were all very good. Sion is a lovely location although it can get seriously hot! Would recommend this hotel.

The property was a little further from the town center than I realized. But it was clean and the staff was great. It was a twenty minute walk into the city, But it was easy and safe. We were there on a Sunday, so restaurant and transportation was limited. (Something to note if traveling, on Sundays town is pretty much shutdown). Also no A/C, normally not an issue, But it was 86 on this date.

Nice little hotel to pass only a day or two
I booked two rooms for my family to pass New years eve because it was close to our friends house. Its located in Sion which is a nice village.. Its a small room , with confortable beds. Its an hotel to pass very few days because there is little place to put your things in. I recommend to get a room that does not face the street so it won't be noisy. i di not have breakfast so i can not say anything about the food. The night we came in , some thief came in and robbed the reception. The bathroom is well illuminated, Need to put a small mirror for the ladies to put their make up and need to have tissue paper. the rest is ok .

The hotel is easy to find i.e just off the motorway, clean, parking, friendly staff, and close to the town if you have a car or do not mind walking 20 to 30 minutes.

Nice home away from my home
I liked the size and comfort of the bed, cleanliness of the bathroom and the working table. Staff were cheerful and ready to serve. However, I found the room a bit cold. I would have loved the provision of water in a bottle and a bigger glass for drinking.

Very helpful staff
After a bad skiing accident, my son was in the hospital only a few minutes walk away. The Ibis was perfect for location, the staff were tremendously helpful and the bed, very comfortable. I had one less thing to worry about and a very stressful week was made more bearable.

The day was hot, and the room hotter - no air conditioning or even a fan. And there was no chair in the room, and even in the lobby the chairs were extremely uncomfortable. We left without staying the night.

These Ibis hotels are a pleasure to stay in. Everything at Sion Est was squeaky clean and seemed to be brand new. As usual the staff were friendly, helpfull and mutilingual. The hotel was close to the highway and a fifteen minute walk into town, use the two hilltop castles to orientate yourself. The hotel has a very pleasant restaurant with outside seating which encouragingly seemed to be popular with the locals. The only problem was that due to the exchange rate at the time of writing everything was twice the price of that in Italy and France. C'est la vie.

The hotel is no frills with a price to match. Unfortunately, it has no air conditioning and there is a lot of street noise through the open windows. It's not located within walking distance to downtown and the surrounding neighborhood had nothing to recommend it. I would not stay here again.

Hotel Ibis, Sion
We chose this hotel for its proximity to Sion airport. We did not have a car and had to walk back to town for an evening meal, this took about 30 minutes but was not unpleasant. The staff were helpful, the rooms clean and the breakfast excellent. We would stay again.

The hotel was comfortable, well prices, provided good service, but minimalistic as could be expected for the price paid. If the hotel is used for the sleepover, then it is perfect, but if one intends to spend some tine there then it is a bit basic.

Ibis it what it is
Staying at an Ibis is similar to staying at a Super 8 in the U.S. The price is good, the breakfast is good, the room is small but clean, the bathroom functions well, but it's not fancy at all. If you know this and it meets your needs, the the Ibis in Sion is fine. I would stay there again.
