"Absolutely stunning house. When we arrived there was fresh flowers in most of the rooms as well as complimentary snickerdoodles. The owners thought about absolutely everything including Epsom salts for the clawfoot bathtub or makeup wipes and toothbrushes that one might forget when traveling. Highly recommend this historic home. "

"Great house. The neighborhood deer were a special touch. We loved the high ceiling in the living room, large and comfortable beds, and in-home jacuzzi and sauna. The kitchen was well stocked. Thank you for a great stay!"

"Our family of 4 came for 4 days to do some hiking and exploring in Shanendoah.The house is on the river, so peaceful and quiet. We LOVED the firepit. It was great for family time. "

"Overall great time. Lovely home, very spacious. Hot tub worked, access to river was easy. Fire pit is huge. Enough chairs for everybody, and we had a group of 12. Found clean but definitely needs a deep cleaning, the ceiling, under beds and couches, bathroom extractors and the washing machine smelled of mold. Maybe an update of AC units, we did feel hot during the day.Will vrbo in the future with this property. "
