Rental properties can feel like a gamble sometimes with mattress quality, but the owners of the Spofford Lodge spared no expense to furnish their rooms with high quality items. The bathroom is luxurious and spacious! A shower stall and separate bath is so nice! The heated floors and towel rack are such incredible amenities. The deep bath tub, along with candles and bath salts provided by the owners, was the perfect way to relax at the end of the day.We loved our stay and the owners went out of their way to make our visit comfortable and show us their care and high attention to detail. A stay in the Inkwell Suite will be worth it!"

"Imagine walking into a warm and cozy suite illuminated by Christmas tree lights and the reflection of Penobscot Narrows Bridge on the bay and freshly fallen snow AFTER a 24-hour flight delay. This was the welcome Lauri created for us when we arrived at midnight. We traveled from Florida to watch our son play basketball at MMA and even though we lost a day, the entire experience we had made up for it. Too many details to list here, but Lauri will ensure that your stay at Bayside Vista exceeds your expectations, as she is a master at providing "unreasonable hospitality". "

"We had a wonderful stay! The cabin was very comfortable and cozy, and we really enjoyed the fire and the peaceful ambience of the location. The host was good with communication and diligently tried to help when we noticed an odor coming from the upstairs bathroom. They even sent a plumber out and offered helpful suggestions, which minimized the issue, though it did come back occasionally. Other than that and a little bit of dust, everything was great. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay. "
