"Nice hotel - have stayed here several times. This trip we had a rough start as the first day (Friday) they were doing construction and started hammering in the room next to ours at 7:20 am. Part of the lobby was also under construction too. We were not warned that there was construction going on or we would have stayed somewhere else because I was very much looking forward to sleeping in on Friday. The rest of the trip went fairly smoothly and the construction was only going on during the weekdays. We have stayed in the 1 bedroom suites before but this trip it was a studio suite which is much smaller. The other times the outside noise was a bit much from the main road but this side of the building was much quieter for outside noise. Note that parking is additional - it was $57/day but it was very convenient. There is only 1 ice machine for the whole hotel on the 12th floor which was a bit inconvenient. Security is tight as they have them at the doors downstairs. I would recommend this hotel but make sure they are not doing construction during your visit."

"Did not like being walked away from the front desk by the agent to a self serve kiosk to check myself in, seriously. Do better"

"To start with the good: the breakfast is a cut above other hotels of this class: good selection of hot offerings and nice variety. Staff is very helpful and responsive. The bad: well, don't stay in room 333 or any room in that general area. I guess we were over some sort of electrical or power generator. (There are no rooms on the second floor, presumably.) It would kick on around 6:00 or so in the morning (thank goodness I had to be up early for a conference) and I'd hear it periodically at night. The manager tried to help, offered to move us to another room for our final night, but I had no time for that. Room was also very dark. We got one small bar of soap to last 3 days. On the other hand, the kitchenette was fully stocked. (I've stayed in hotels with kitchenettes and there was not a plate or spoon or cup.) Location is literally across the street from the Reading Terminal Market."
