Below Average
It was not a pleasant stay as the condition of the hotel is below expectation. The condition of the rooms and gym is not maintained properly. We were assigned to two of the rooms in one of the villas. we could hear the movement at the corridor and when guests checked in around 5am, the noise would wake us up from the sleep.

Nice hotel a little out of town
Was upgraded free to a very nice suite through booking with Wotif. Lovely big swimming pool, excellent ducted aircon, very helpful staff. Good choice for families or travelling with friends. Only criticism – toiletries supplied ok, but not in keeping with overall standard.

Wonderful Stay
Breakfast was great. Pool is amazing and staff were helpful in every way. Ask for Mr. One the Tuk Tuk driver who works out front of the hotel. He's a nice guy, speaks great English and is super friendly. Make sure you tip him well. I've stayed here on 3 different trips and will continue to do so.

Great staff, quiet location outside town,
Arrived quite late, despite 4 emails asking for collection from airport, no show from hotel , got our own taxi....10 dollars... No big deal, hotel apologetic, sorted out return journey.. Everything was adequate and clean... Staff reall tried their best to help ... EXCEPT for the terrible breakfast.... If you are European do not expect a half decent breakfast... The hotel caters for mainly Chinese/Korean tour parties, ... They do not mix well and are very insular regarding the etiquettes of fellow tourist, we had to leave the restaurant on two occassions due certain tourist/s eating habits, and the practice of spitting onto breakfast plates...don't get me wrong .. I and my wife are seasoned travellers... But I think we got the tail end of " BAD TOURIST SEASON". But lots of places to get breakfast/s locally.... But do not use the free breakfast offer to induce you to stay there......

We enjoyed our stay at Angkor Villa Hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel grounds are very welcoming and comfortable. The rooms were clean, but needed some maintanance. Drawers would not slide open, spots of mold/mildew in the bathroom, and the door to the closet did not work properly allowing an automatic light to stay on continuously. A nice breakfast was offered, but we arrived at advertised opening time on one morning, and had to wait 15-20 minutes for them to finish set up. The wait usually wouldn't be a problem, but we were due to depart that morning and only had about 10 minutes to eat after they were ready.

Decent hotel with big rooms
Our stay in this hotel was overall positive. Room was really big and quite modern. Location is not so great as it is a little outside but with a TukTuk for 3USD you can easily get to town. This hotel target audience seem to be Asian tourist rather than westerners judging from breakfast and other guests in hotel.

Amazing staff were helpful during the entire stay!
The staff were the absolute highlight - they helped us book amazing (and reasonably priced) tours of the local attractions with an english speaking driver and were happy to help with any requests with a smile. The spa was also a highlight - you can get a 60min massage for less than $18 US dollars - not only is the spa menu well-priced, but they give you an additional 20% discount too! The gym was a little old, but if thats not a crucial part of your stay, I would definitely recommend it!

Great for tourist families.
The hotel and staff were wonderful, with large and comfortabled suites suitable for the whole family, a great pool area, a nice breakfast buffet included with the room, and best of all, a very friendly and helpful staff.

Nice rooms, not amazing staff
On my first night here, the staff took so long to find my room reservations that my family decided to go eat to kill some time. When we got back, we were informed that we were put into a villa even though I booked five separate hotel rooms (one being a deluxe). It was late, so we decided to just take it and go to bed. The villa was nice and clean, but I would still prefer having the rooms I booked. Some of the family members had to share beds because of the way the villa was set up. As we were checking out, we were charged for an item that we did not use/take. Ultimately, nice place, not amazing staff. (The gym was lacking.)
Your reservation just booked us around 10pm and then check in immediately. We need 10mns to check with our E-Commerce received your booking or not, and also that's night time office was closed, we need to call them. Moreover, we saw your group are all a family and booked 5 rooms that why we put into a Paradise Villa even it high category. We're very sorry for this inconvenience to you. Normally hotel never charged items if guests not uses. Anyways, thanks you to stayed at us and had a comment. We'll keep it to improve operation.

Give this one a miss!
I checked into this hotel with my wife to spend four days visiting Angkor. The hotel is far from Pub Street and the restaurants, which I knew beforehand. However, it is a must to get to Pub Street as the food and service at this hotel are terrible. The hotel had 7 lounge/pool chairs for the whole place. The gym was not usable because of the heat and mold in the room. There is no air conditioning in the hallways, and if you want a drink or lunch in the lounge/front desk area you have to ask them to turn on the a/c. The hotel mostly caters to bus loads of tourists coming for a few days from China and South Korea. However, if you prefer a more western breakfast, you will be disappointed. On the day we were checking out we waited in the lobby for over an hour for our bus to pick us up. I had already taken care of my bill. Finally, when the bus arrived the clerk at the desk realized that they had not charged me for the Christmas dinner. We had to keep the bus waiting while we went back and paid this bill. This hotel should without question be dismissed if you are looking for a convenient hotel with good service and food.

Average hotel, not centrally located
The hotel itself was average but was far from the main town area. The breakfast selection was not great. While the hotel was value for money, I probably would now pay a bit more to be a bit more centrally located.

Thanks you very much to stayed at us and a great comment. However, we still need to improve our services more and more. But for the location we cannot move to city but we have free shuttle bus to city as well, you just enquire our front desk, and if you take Tuk Tuk they charged 5$ for both ways. Ultimately, we thanks you again and look forward to serving again by next trip.

Stay at Paradise Angkor Villa Hotel
My room was upgraded to a suite, since I arrived during low season time. This was quite generous and thoughtful of the hotel staff. The rooms was absolutely amazing and had quiet surrounding. The breakfast buffet was nice, although the staff has tendency to turn off the air conditioning due to low occupancy, given the climate being hot and humid during May, I would recommend not turning off the air conditioning in areas that are frequented by guests at specific times. Staff in general were really helpful and courteous.

The staff was very friendly & helpful, the whole place was very clean. There were 2 restaurants, a large pool, sauna, lounge, & spa at the hotel. The grounds were beautiful & clean. Besides ordinary rooms for guests there were also separate bungalows for families or larger groups. The stay here was one of the best experiences at any hotel in any country we have ever had.

Excellent Hotel
All staff are always helpful. I was given a room facing the front on arrival. Nice room, but the Hotel received a great deal of group tours from Japan, Korea, Thailand and mostly Main Land China (the loudest lot of people I came across), coaches can be a bit noicey on arrival and departing. They did move me to a quieter back room for the rest of my 7 nights.

Great value, excellent service and quality
I stayed at the Paradise Villa hotel for 6 nights. The hotel is beautiful and very clean. The pool area is well maintained. In general the staff offered very good service. My room was in a quiet area in the villas. Being a woman on my own I always felt very safe. I had breakfast at the restaurant every morning, it is a very extensive buffet, offering as well a cooking station for eggs, omelets and asian soups. I also had meals at one of the restaurants (Chinese), and I was pleased with the quality, price and service. There is a bar in the lobby and the staff is very pleasant. The only two negative points were the fitness room as many of the air conditioning units are not working and some of the equipments are out of order, and the wireless internet that is quite slow. However, you will find free wireless anywhere in the downtown area of Siem Reap, for example in Pub Street where all bars and restaurants have it available for their customers. For the location, it is in between Angkor Wat and downtown area. You will need a tuk-tuk either way as there is not much to do around the hotel. You should pay around $ 2-3 for a tuk-tuk ride going downtown. There are many tuk-tuk drivers waiting just outside the hotel. Overall, it was an amazing quality for the price I paid and had a very pleasant and safe stay at this hotel. Unless you are looking for an hotel in the downtown area, I would highly recommend this resort if you are hoping for a relaxing and quiet place.

Great hotel, if you don't need internet access
Great location, great staff, very good value. However, I need regular reliable internet to keep up with work email and the internet access here was essentially non-existent, despite what the hotel lists. Nothing available in the room and the lobby-only wifi didn't work about 75% of the time. When it did it was very slow. If you don't care about internet, good value, large clean rooms. Friendly staff. Noit right in town but tuk-tuks made it easy to get around. But would not go back - having to go to town just to do a few work emails was a really headache and very disappointing given plenty of cheaper places and cafes had fast, free wifi.

Hotel Experience in Siem Reap
There was no wireless in the room, we have to walk across the pool from the back building of our room to the front building to use the internet which was very bad. The breakfast was aimed to serve Korean or Asian customers. It was very few selections of foods. We ordered two meals from the restaurant, It was very poor, we could not eat them. The hotel location was far off from everything.

Great Less Expensive Hotel Option
Going to Siem Reap, I was worried that if I didn't book the most expensive hotel, I would run into trouble with the quality of the hotel. NOT THE CASE WITH PARADISE ANGKOR VILLA. Great hotel, Great Service, Great Staff, the reason the hotel is less expensive is because it isn't in the heart of the town. This was not a problem for us because we took a $4 R/T tuk-tuk to Pub Street and it is actually closer to the temples. So rest easy (no pun intended) with this option. One of the best parts about going to Cambodia is traveling cheaper, and this is another way to indulge in that.

Very good service
We stayed for 3 nights and we found the hotel to be very comfortable with excellent service from all staff. Sometimes the staff struggled with English but they tried their best and during our stay we found the staff went above and beyond. The salon is excellent, food is good and the pool is very nice. The only downside is the location but it is very easy to get a tuk tuk into town for $3. I would stay here again.

I stayed 5 nights at this hotel in August. I enjoyed the hotel and the staff were friendly. My only problem occurred during check-out. My credit card could not be read by the hotel's machine for some odd reason. I had used it all over Siem Reap just fine. I was told that I could get money from an ATM which was approximately 2 miles away and it was pouring down raining. I had less than an hour before I was scheduled to leave for Thailand by bus and I had arranged transportation to the bus station/stop. The manager, Ang, had a driver take he and I to the aforementioned ATM, where I withdrew money with no problem. But instead of taking the cash, $56.00 and dropping me off at the bus station, I was returned to the hotel, paid my bill and that was it! He said he was sorry that I was annoyed, that's all! I was left to get to the station on my own and had wasted approximately 40 minutes. And I had to absorb the added fees of withdrawing money from the ATM. This could have been handled more professionally, in my opinion. Or at least get an ATM in the hotel.

Good hotel but bad location
Hotel is clean and well maintained. Rooms are fine. Breakfast boring compared to the 4 star standard. Location is bad compared to all the othe hotels in the city. It's a 10 minute tuk-tuk drive away from the city and 15 minutes to Angkor Wat, but most of the other hotels are closer and as the city is nice to go in and out of when wanted, there is no reason to stay all the way out there. My suggestion is to take a hotel nearer to the city.

Incredible Value
Overall, we were very happy with this hotel. The staff goes out of their way to make you comfortable and make sure you are well taken care of. The location of the hotel is a bit out of town, which makes walking to check out the sights unrealistic. Fortunately, they have a plenty of transportation available at a moment’s notice. It is a five minute ride into town on a tuk-tuk, and fifteen minutes to Angkor Wat. Transportation is incredibly cheap, we basically hired the same tuk-tuk driver for two and a half days, providing transportation to the temples and all around Siem Reap for under $50 and I am pretty sure we overpaid because he took us to the airport for free and refused to take any more money! Definitely make sure to go to Baar Street for great/cheap food and drinks (can’t beat $0.50 drafts and $3.00 entrees). The only negative that I can think of is comfort of the couches and extremely firm bed (very, very firm). Although unrelated to the hotel…I would recommend avoiding the floating village tour on the Tonle Sap Lake (read giant tourist trap!) Unless you are in to overpaying for a boat ride and being pressured into buying overpriced school supplies for the children.
