I stayed at the Paradise Villa hotel for 6 nights. The hotel is beautiful and very clean. The pool area is well maintained. In general the staff offered very good service. My room was in a quiet area in the villas. Being a woman on my own I always felt very safe. I had breakfast at the restaurant every morning, it is a very extensive buffet, offering as well a cooking station for eggs, omelets and asian soups. I also had meals at one of the restaurants (Chinese), and I was pleased with the quality, price and service. There is a bar in the lobby and the staff is very pleasant. The only two negative points were the fitness room as many of the air conditioning units are not working and some of the equipments are out of order, and the wireless internet that is quite slow. However, you will find free wireless anywhere in the downtown area of Siem Reap, for example in Pub Street where all bars and restaurants have it available for their customers.
For the location, it is in between Angkor Wat and downtown area. You will need a tuk-tuk either way as there is not much to do around the hotel. You should pay around $ 2-3 for a tuk-tuk ride going downtown. There are many tuk-tuk drivers waiting just outside the hotel.
Overall, it was an amazing quality for the price I paid and had a very pleasant and safe stay at this hotel. Unless you are looking for an hotel in the downtown area, I would highly recommend this resort if you are hoping for a relaxing and quiet place.
