I had such a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were incredible, everyone was very friendly and helpful, they were always available and made me feel very welcome. The hotel is in a convenient location close to the centre for markets and restaurants. I really loved my stay and would recommend to anyone.

A great place to stay! Very clean. Hotel reception very polite and accommodating. Mr. Chen took care of all my needs. Tours easily booked as well as airport transfers. Mr Ly Dan my knowledgeable English guide to Angkor Wat. Very close to ATMs, Pub Street, restaurants. Very affordable too. Highly recommended.

All staff were kind, polite, friendly and willing. This hotel has fantastic atmosphere and is very close to good restaurants, spas, convenience stores, pharmacies, and so forth. However, TEMPLE, the bar which is close to this hotel, makes terrible noise of music and DJs every night. That made me awake until 4am for 4 nights. Without this bar, evaluation by me to this hotel would have been perfect.

I recently stayed at the Golden Butterfly for six nights. The hotel is very well located in a quiet area but only a few minutes from riverside and pub street. The rooms, while simply appointed, are clean and comfortable. But what really makes this hotel special is the warm welcome and the smiling and friendly service provided by Mr Chen and his whole team.

Can’t say enough good about the staff at Golden Butterfly Villa from the time we arrived until when we left. The hotel was very clean and well cared for. Bikes to borrow was a nice perk. The only negative comment is the noise. We could hear the night Bar Street most of the night and then the school across the alley started before 7:00 am Monday to Saturday.

Friendly staff. Convenient location for nightlife and food. Tucked a bit back off the road. School next door can be a bit noisy during the day but not an issue. Tv is only YouTube but not a problem unless you want to stay in your room all stay.

Staff are superheros but can’t fix everything

The staff was among the best I have ever seen at a hotel. They take very good of their customers. However, they cannot fix everything. The noise from the school will wake you up in the morning and the nightclub out back will keep you up till 3 am. Beyond this, there are an insane amount of mosquitos in the room and the water for the shower either burns you or freezes you with no inbetween. Decent for the price but happy to go

The staff were amazing. Always happy with a smile. Bathroom lighting needed to be brighter to shave by. Mattress was extremely hard. No give. Like sleeping on the floor.

Beautiful open air lobby with dark hardwood accents (stairs and upper floors), colorful decor. Rooms with modern bathrooms and good air conditioning. Very friendly and helpful staff, a one block walk from the night market and pub street. There is an elementary school next door so it can be a bit noisy during the day, but very quiet at night and super convenient. Tremendously good value. Highly recommended for anyone going to explore Angor.

Good /average stay.

Stay was good. But there was no lift/elevator , making it difficult to reach top floor. Room lights were very dim,no lights in balcony. I did have bad back ache after skeeping on the mattress. However, the front desk was very helpful, specially one yoing man named Navin was very cheerful and helpful. Also since the hotel is very near to the city center, it was very easy to find local toirs, transport, restaurants etc
