Airport pick-up worked fabulously and ride was very comfortable. The property is designed in a beautiful Cambodian style. The pool is breath-taking. Food is good but pricy. Unfortunately, some of our experience requests were not confirmed upfront and were missing in our file. We did receive a note informing us of an employee no longer being with the company and 2 out of office emails from other staff members prior to arrival. The staff seemed not properly informed/trained on the “circus dinner experience”. The tour operator for the Angkor Temple is fantastic and can be highly recommended.

Great and relaxing hotel!
We loved this hotel. The room was so comfortable and great to relax in after a day of touring. We especially loved the couple's bathtub. The pool was wonderful and so was the spa. The staff was friendly and very attentive. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Fabulous hotel
We had a lovely stay at the Belmond in Siem Reap. Service was excellent as were the spacious rooms. We only had 2 nights unfortunately.

I picked this property in competition of Park Hyatt and Raffles. I think I made the right choice. The overall design is beautiful, the pool is great despite not very friendly for kids. The rooms are spacious and the little balcón is nice. Impressed with how the green garden is incorporated in the overall design. Breakfast is great. Very much liked all aspects of the breakfast. Service and attitude of the staff is overall world class. The property is for most parts great. There were some minor defects in the bathroom that they were unable to fix during our stay which was average. The overall maintenance of the property is not also on pair of a true luxury property. The roof needs improvement work and some of the decorations on the exterior are broken. The bathrooms in the main building have sinks that don’t allow hands to be put under the tap without touching the tap and the sink which is not hygienic. Overall, whatever shortage there may have been at Belmond I am sure I would have had the same experience at other top hotels in Siem Reap. Had dinner in Park Hyatt and there were two electricity short cuts and the AC didn’t work in the main dining room. Siem Reap as a destination still has a decade to go to reach true international five star level but if you like time travel and nice people this is the place to go.

Beautiful calm oasis of a hotel. Truly lovely. Staff superb, rooms perfect. Two restaurants offer great choice of menu, and breakfast to die for. The best bed and pillows of any hotel we have stayed in!

Great location, lovely staff and service and good food! My only comment would be that the rooms (junior suite) were completely fine but could have been designed to have more privacy between bathroom / bedroom (sliding door with wooden grill). Cleanliness I would give 9/10. But cannot fault staff, service and the pool was perfect to relax in after a day trekking around the temples!

An Oasis in Siem Reap
Beautiful property that feels like an oasis from the dust and heat of the world outside its walls. Siem Reap is a hot and polluted city but returning to the Belmond each day was lovely. Very nice pool, lily pond, koi pond, and other elements made the place feel relaxing and airy. Our suite was very well appointed as well. Staff worked hard to take care of guests -- particularly at breakfast and in the restaurants. Highly recommend this hotel if you're staying in Siem Reap.

Swim Reap Oasis
A remarkable place and an easy walk to neighborhoods such as Kendal Village and the old market. The staff are as nice as can be, and the setting is gorgeous. Open air bar and lobby, and the pool area is dreamy. I loved it.

Lovely oasis from which to explore Angkor
Just a wonderful experience from start to finish. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are immaculate and very comfortable and well appointed. At arrival I was already surprised by the hotel, a staff provided free pick up from the airport to the hotel. Big room, many facilities but what impressed me most was the kindness and the service provided by the Hotel staff. From the manager Sai to the receptionist Jasmine were all really helpful. Maybe the only thing I was turned down was the too soft beds and pillow (but this is really a personal preference). I will recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Siam Reap and don't want to stay in the chaotic downtown.

First class service in a lovely hotel, in the city
First, I am hard to please, not shy to complain. The good news is I have nothing to complain but PRAISEs for Belmond hotel and the staff. From the pick up point (I recommend you book the hotel transfer), I was greeted by a lovely driver, cold towel in the 4x4, coconut water and phone charger. Check in whilst you’re sitting comfortably drinking passion fruit drink . Hotel is walking distance to old market, pub street, supermarket - just cross the bridge. Loads of shop, if you walk on the left keep going there will be hard rock Angkor. It’s $2 to go around via tuk tuk. Most will hassle you even if you just got into the city . In the last 2 days, I use a nice quiet tuk tuk driver named Saro 00 850 12659287 - he will take you where you want to go, wait and take you back to hotel or somewhere else. Ask him to take you to Sayyam seafood ;Thai style), pick u up when you finish, stop to buy fruits (the mangoes are so sweet even the green ones) and take you to hotel. Go see the circus show - Saro can take you there as well. Negotiate with him . On the last pick up, he left it to me the amount to pay him . Don’t waste your money on floating village (scam to get more money from you once you get there).but if you’re going, get tuk tuk - it’s far but Saro took me there. Of course first 2 days I did the temples. Buy 3 days ticket , cheaper than 2 days, my favourite are Ta phrom tomb raider, bantey srei, bayon, Angkor wat looks amazing from outside, gr8 stories carved on the wall.

Can't fault our stay for 2 nights to unwind after a really busy time - Friday evening the manager hosted a cocktail party which was very nice. We made the most of generous early check in and check out times, so we got 3 very relaxing days and used the hotel arranged trip to see the temples. I'm sure there were cheaper ways to do, but everything was seamless and the location of the hotel makes going out for dinner or exploring vey convenient. The breakfast was excellent and Spa treatments very good. Sure its expensive for Siem Reap but it delivered exactly what we wanted for a very reasonable price.
