"I stayed for 15 days. I loved the area, lots of options for food, shopping, groceries, ice cream, walking distance to all bus routes, underground, and international trains. A beautiful park nearby, and lots of activities in the square by the hotel entrance at weekends. Highly recommended. "
"A very nice hotel, beautiful grounds in an old castle completely modernized. A bit out of the way but amazing hiking right outside. staff was extremely helpful and breakfast was excellent."
"Staff were fantastic, went above and beyond for us. Nice big rooms and all very clean. We did run out of hot water but that was not a major issue. Lovely place."
"Parking is not cheap on working days.
But the area is very nice and amazing walks can be taken in the nature.
The room was comfy and clean, though the lack of air conditioning could be a problem during hot summer nights."
"Loved our stay here, wish we’d had more time! Original and clever decor, very clean and spacious rooms, delicious breakfast (much better than the average hotel breakfast buffet) and dog friendly."

Maritim Hotel Königswinter
10/10 Excellent
"Very friendly, helpful staff. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast had a fair choice and there was filter coffee as well as a machine. A good stay. "
"Lovely hotel room, with a very comfortable bed and very fluffy pillows. No A/C, but we didn’t need it or the provided fan as the window provided ample ventilation for us. Cleanliness is excellent. Thank you so much to the staff at Hotel Berlin for such a comfortable and lovely stay! "
"I stayed at Boutiquehotel Dreesen for three days during a class reunion trip, and it truly impressed me. Housed in a beautiful historic villa in a quiet neighborhood, the hotel is ideally situated—just a short walk from the Rhein and the heart of Bad Godesberg. The serene location felt like a retreat but was still super accessible.
The staff were wonderfully warm and helpful, and check-in was smooth and welcoming. A heads-up for late arrivals: the reception isn’t staffed 24/7, so plan accordingly.
My room was well-designed and comfortable, with a cozy bed, a desk for work, and a modern, spotless bathroom. While not large, it was excellent value for the price. Bonus points for the complimentary Coke and bottled water in the fridge! The Wi-Fi worked reliably throughout my stay (just don’t forget to ask for the password at the front desk).
Breakfast was ample and delicious, and I especially appreciated the option to dine outdoors on the lovely patio—such a peaceful start to the day.
The only minor downside was the lack of air-conditioning during a hot stretch of weather. Opening the windows helped, but it did let in a bit of street noise. Nothing unbearable, just something to be mindful of if you're used to air-conditioned spaces.
All in all, I’d gladly stay here again. It’s a perfect spot for solo travelers or couples looking for charm, cleanliness, and a quiet atmosphere with easy access to everything. Just check the forecast if you're sensitive to heat!

"Our room was facing the Danube River. It had two balconies! Very spacious and comfortable. Dining was excellent! You need to make reservations as well. Staff was friendly and professional. "
