"Beautiful resort on the beach. Staff were incredible! Helpful, friendly, welcoming, just amazing staff overall! Breakfast was delicious with a lot of variety. The pools were beautiful. Only negative is this area of the ocean has a lot of seaweed and when the tide is out that’s all you have as it’s quite shallow there. The rooms are gorgeous but could be updated and maybe heated towel racks installed to help dry towels and swimsuits. Our towels never dried from one day to the next due to the humidity. Otherwise absolutely gorgeous hotel in a great shopping/eating area"

"Lovely hotel in a great location of Ubud - we also did the free rice scrub making class which was fab! Great selection at breakfast as you can pick from both the buffet and the à la carte menu. The attention to detail was great - they checked the room before we left and managed to find a charger we had left. The staff are so friendly and welcoming - would definitely recommend!"

"Tanah Gajah was by far the most relaxing vacation my wife and I have ever had. From our villa with infiti pool looking on to the rice paddies to the private walled accomodation, the extensive beautifully designed gardens, wonderful food by chef Dean, everything superb! "This 48 room hotel is amazing and a hidden gem in Ubud. Close to everything and on a quiet street, the staff is so helpful and they offer a unique experience. Many included programs to learn and experience Balinese culture. A pristine infinity pool I could swim laps in as others also enjoyed the pool. Plus breakfast, included and top notch. Fresh everything, so many choices and the most amazing surroundings to enjoy the food peacefully. "
