We stayed one night before our Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route trip and another night after returning, and both stays were excellent. The hotel is very well maintained and offers a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere. One of the highlights was the large mosaic-tiled onsen spa. The design is beautiful and reminds me of an aquarium. It has two levels, and the layout is thoughtfully planned so that different sections are not directly..."Reviewed June 5, 2026Return • Auckland (AKL) - Toyama (TOY)AKL - TOY • 2 stops TOY - AKL • 2 stopsNZ$5,994NZ$5,798found 1 day agoper traveller

"Brand new and excellent condition property, free onsite parking, superb helpful and welcoming staff, very good amenities, very fast internet, average sized room to Japanese standard, sumptuous breakfast, enough varieties for Vegans and Vegetarians. Value for money hotel. Just that the Breakfast Buffet food is only labelled in Japanese, thus need enquiry from staff about content and ingredients."

"Strange location, near small motorway service area but no access by vehicles to or from it. Huge car parking areas but in March these were virtually empty. Excellent pool/spa and onsen which is free for guests to use and is well used by locals. Posh downstairs lounge area next to restaurant. Staff very friendly and very helpful in the pool/spa area (need a hat for pool/spa but they do lend them. Not enough information given on the restaurant, which was open until 10 pm but took last orders at 8...
