The rooms are part of a pub and next door to another pub that has live music on certain nights, which you could hear but it was not overly loud and you could easily sleep through it(I did), parking your car right at your door was very easy with a good amount of space to unload, room was very clean and comfortable and the bed was great.small fridge.Food choices from good value pub meals to take aways just across the road. would stay again.

This is, hands down, the most welcoming and friendly motel that we have had the pleasure to stay at. It is not modern and trendy. It is clean, well maintained, most comfy bed and the pressure in the shower is excellent. We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this hotel. Give them a call and book it.

This was a great place to stay, clean and tidy, located across the road from a great kids park and beach. The only downside and it was a big one, was our A/C did not work well, and as a result we all had a terrible nights sleep. It kept turning itself off and wouldn't even work properly while it was on. We would have kept the glass sliding door open but unfortunately the lock wasn't very secure and I was worried our three year old could escape. I would definitely stay here again but would first...

Amazing service. Very clean and tidy room. Hannah is amazing. Nothing was ever a problem. We ordered room service for dinner. Wonderful, generous meals which were very delicious. Kids loved the pool. Access to the beach was very close too. Lovely park not far as well for the kids. We will recommend to all we know. Thanks for amazing service.

Superb venue, lovely clean, modern and well appointed rooms. Very friendly operators, recommended good places to eat and see. Free wifi, breakfast included in room rate, absolutely faultless. Simple little touches, like a little wave from the operator as you drive in and out make for a great experience.

The Clarion Hotel Mackay Marina is our place to stay in Mackay. Great staff, spacious clean rooms, quiet relaxing atmosphere, comfy beds and a fabulous pool.

We had 2 young children with us so having that extra single bed in the room was great. The parking was good had extra room to fully open the doors on the car without having to squeeze beside the other cars. The rooms were nicely renovated with an old country stone charm. The in room Neptune’s Seafood was amazing recommend the Chicken Malibu Sauce dish! Only downfalls 1. the pool wish it was heated so the kids could go for a swim. Our late check in was quickly sorted out by the lovely staff at the hotel. The room was extremely clean and well maintained, with very comfortable beds. The complimentary inroom breakfast was appreciated. Excellent stay and value for money. Thank You.

Staff were great. Room was perfect…..really appreciated the kitchenette to prepare meals and lunches. Continental breakfast was a great bonus. Excellent value for your money. Will definitely rebook next cricket tournament.

Had a great stay, nice clean modern rooms, kids were impressed to say the least to have their own room and space. Close to everything in Mackay city, would definitely stay again.

great place to stay, clean and serene, lady at reception was friendly and very helpful, i had a 1 bedroom apt jn the 5tg floor with a private balcony with a breathtakung view of the Pioneer river and the ocean.
