We loved all the fine details throughout the house, especially how much of it feels original and the great vintage photos of Eddie Bauer on the walls. The secluded beach access made it feel private and peaceful, and the fireplace with pre-chopped wood was perfect for cozy evenings.We even spotted a bald eagle perched on a rock and found lots of neat treasures along the beach—it was truly magical. One of our favorite touches was the VCR and DVD player stocked with old movies—it made us feel like kids again, reliving those nostalgic moments from our childhood.The host was extremely responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. "We cannot thank you enough for an absolutely amazing stay. We have traveled extensively and stayed in many beautiful rentals and this one by far is the best. The photos don't capture the grandeur of the setting. The grounds are magical. We enjoyed the peacefulness of the river and surrounding forests. We played music around the campfire and enjoyed the warmth of the indoor fireplace. All the attention to detail and the beautifully decorated space really made for a relaxing and wonderful vacation. Privacy, comfortable beds with great bedding, well stocked kitchen, a back up coffee stash when we ran short on the last morning! great smelling shampoo .. all these little things added up to a fantastic experience.
