"X’Tan Ha Resort was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The customer service was truly exceptional. The team was highly communicative, arranged transportation for us seamlessly, and remained extremely responsive throughout our stay. That level of care made a real difference. Our room was exceptionally clean and very well maintained. The entire property feels like a hidden gem. It is peaceful and quiet, and the guests we encountered were warm and friendly, which added to the relaxing atmosphere. The resort is a bit removed from some of the busier parts of the island, but that actually contributes to its charm. If you rent a golf cart, getting to other activities and areas is easy and convenient. One moment that really stood out was when I accidentally left my backpack in a transport van before my flight. I was honestly in panic mode, but the resort team stepped in immediately and was instrumental in helping me get it back. That level of support and care speaks volumes about their commitment to guests. My only critique is that it would be helpful to have more food options available and open later in the evening. Aside from that, this resort is top notch. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, well-run place to stay."

"Beautiful place! Amazing host! It’s small, simple, and quiet, just what we were looking for. If you want peace and relaxation in a gorgeous Caribbean setting look no farther than Belizima eco resort. So cool to fall asleep and wake up to the sounds of tropical birds and the gentle waves lapping the shore right outside of our cabana. Loved the 3 resident dogs. We would definitely stay here again! I’d give more stars if I could."

"We stayed at Tranquility Bay as a family of four for 4 days and had a wonderful time. It's a beautiful secluded resort with a well maintained nice sandy beach. We came here for the snorkeling and it was a great place for our 8&9 year old to learn. There are a few small reefs (~20-30ft wide) that you can swim to from the beach. The water remains shallow for quite a distance and there are some sand bars you can stand up on. There is also an outer reef ~500 feet from the beach that can be reached by Kayaks (provided by the resort). What is special about Tranquility Bay is that the outer reef is very close to shore, whereas further south along Ambergris caye the reef is over 1km away from shore. We did kayak out to the reef and the channel that opens between the outer reef and the protected shallows. But snorkeling this area is challenging for a novice. The most memorable snorkeling we did was a boat ride tour the staff took us on to Mexico Rocks/Stingray City. The entire staff were very hospitable and made our stay enjoyable. Manager Axcel has done a great job. Sitting on the deck for meals and taking in the view, the undulating waves, fish and sunset was unsurpassed. A bonus was fly fishing from the dock - our 9 yo was thrilled to cash 3 fish in the span of 3 hrs! They will even serve what you catch! Downsides: the resort is far from San Pedro (30min boat ride $225 return, 1hr by car?$150) and secluded. 6 meals in a row of chicken fingers was a bit much for our kids."

"Sapphire Bay is a lovely, very well-maintained and secure resort. The staff are the most friendly and helpful people we have met. Everyone works hard to make your stay enjoyable. Eddy, in the office, booked excursions and our flights to Belize City for us. Wilbert, worked at the Tiki Bar and anywhere else he was needed. Felt like family!9c is a nice, clean, little unit. Everything two people need. Water and coffee was supplied. TV was appreciated as there were a few cooler nights. It's not ocean front which was actually good as we had some windy days. There are 3 pools that are spotless! We had a balcony that overlooks the pool and we enjoyed eating our breakfast in the sun each morning. The location is remote but we loved exploring the area and had great fun snorkeling, driving our cart to Secret Beach and up north to other resorts. San Pedro is only 40 minutes away so easy to explore and have meals there as well. Jason, the host, was responsive to any questions we had and supplied us with ample information prior to our visit. We are in our 60's and very active and the resort does have an older, but active clientele. We enjoyed meeting people as it's a very friendly community and many people stay long term or return each year. So, if you are looking for a quiet location as a home base to enjoy excursions, explore on a golf cart and meet great people 50 you will enjoy this location. "

"My care takers, Yvonne and Norman is what made my stay at North beach the most memorable! They treat their guest like family and make sure you are safe and fed with their home made authentic Belizean breakfast. Any issue I had they took care of it immediately. They kept me informed of any specials around the island and even invited me out to drinks and wings on my last day there. The retreat itself is so beautiful. the beachfront looks like a photo straight from a postcard. It is Amazing watching the sunset and sunrise! Norman keeps the grounds well kept and clean. If you are looking for a safe and relaxing stay this is the place to be. I cannot wait to come back to Belize and see my good friends again!!!"
