"The room was clean and comfortable large bed. We would have preferred a walk in shower rather than over the bath but was fine for two nights. Parking wasn’t easy very busy and restricted bays. Staff very helpful. Very good breakfast. Bar food good. "
DoubleTree by Hilton Harrogate Majestic Hotel & Spa
6/10 Okay
"Just felt like they were trying to screw every penny out of me from the extortionate parking price for overnight parking to paying for water in my room.
The woman in the restaurant at night wouldn't know customer service if it slapped her in the face.vote with feet won't stay again !"
"I didn't opt for breakfast but will next time, unfortunately my car got broken into when I parked overnight in the disability parking bay with my disability Blue badge.
It was a shock to to see the damage in the morning and the police were quickly in attendance and per CCTV cameras recording everything in the car park. I would most definitely book the hotel again in the future and would recommend it highly."
"Only stayed one night unfortunately but will definitely return. Staffs are very helpful and friendly; great breakfast; bedroom lovely and enjoyed the bar. We would have eaten at the restaurant but only one vegan option on the menu so are elsewhere and the gym is good as long as there are few people in there at the same time. Great location in the center, just not the easiest to find."
"Beautiful hotel, it's very special, which made our stay fabulous especially as we were in Leeds to celebrate my husbands big birthday.
The staff were very friendly and helpful
Well done, on a fabulous place to stay"
"The setting of this hotel is beautiful. The room we had was recently renovated and was extremely comfortable. The staff were great, very friendly and attentive. We will be back to Harrogate and will definitely look to stay here again. The on-site Amber's restaurant is divine, and the food was amazing."
"Breakfast room quite small for size of hotel. Queues at key times. Cooked breakfast buffet in another room and separated by stairs, not so good when carrying a hot plate. Having said that, the offering was very good and piping hot."
