A nice and quiet stay for 3 nights. The hotel has exceptional views of the surrounding valleys and vista. Decent breakfast except for the fact that the road leading to the property is narrow and fairly dangerous for a larger vehicle like an SUV. It is almost impossible for 2 facing vehicles to pass each other without one backing up to a curve. They should extend the road sideways so it is safe to travel as well as have driver dorms.

I am sold. I have stayed in multiple 5-star hotels/chains across multiple countries and I have to say that WelcomHotels are in the top of my list now. Everything is perfect. Cleanliness, Hygiene, Food, Room, Facilities, Courteous Staff. Just about everything. We had stayed with my in-laws and kids and all the 3 generations were satisfied and more than happy with our stay. Kudos goes out especially to Virendar who made our stay so warm and welcomed and was attentive to all our details. Every single staff member always walked around with a smile and were ready to help us out for anything at all. They were actively "reading the room" to see what we would need help with or assistance with. The rooms are just fantastic. They are right sized. All rooms were replenished regularly and immediately upon request. Beds were incredibly comfy as well. Food was absolutely one of the best we have had. Every single dish was mouthwatering and tasty. We had never ordered so much in-room dining before! We wouldn't hesitate even a second to recommend WelcomHotel @ Shimla to anyone at all! Well done WelcomHotel Shimla Team!

Most of the facilities were closed due to maintenance. Service was very slow. There were not many servers to serve. We had to knock at the kitchen door to have someone come out and help us. Doesn’t deserve to be a 5 star hotel.

Good - could have been better.

A mixed bags of Pluses & Minuses: PLUS: 1. The location and ambiance of the hotel was beyond compare; 2. The food was extremely good; 3. The Staff was extremely cordial and warm.; 4. The decor and the overall impression was a WOW. MINUS: 1. The location was extremely far which can be good however very poor signage on the narrow winding roads left you gasping especially when we were travelling from Manali & reached very late in the night- Google does not show this hotel; 2. The rooms have common balconies which you are sharing with other guests- where does this happen ??? 3. We had booked 2 rooms and had to have a long conversation to have both rooms adjacent to each other despite booking/ paying upfront online ; 4. No conveniences for the Car drivers- which is very sad to say the least. If you cant allow a driver to have a decent stay/bath facilities-it is a sad state of affairs;

Memorable stay.

Stay in Welcome hotel by ITC was excellent and mind freshening. Staff was spontaneously caring, courteous and brisk. Food was exceptional during our Four days of stay,they were rotating the Meenu intelligently and generously. We came here for complete relaxation, so for us the location of hotel was excellent, very calm, surrounded by pine tree mountains, clean air without traffic sounds. They should improve the WI-FI, of course our 4G was working nicely.

Forced to remain in your hotel

No possibility of going for walks around the area. You have to take your car whenever you have to go around the place. Very inhospitable for guests who want to enjoy the weather and have shaded walks or treks around the place. Very poor conveniences in that regard.
