For a Wyndom property I was surprised at how unkept the place was even tho in 2018 it was voted most outstanding Microtel. Staff were not professionally dressed, one actually was wearing a construction company Tshirt. Place to buy food in lobby was cash only. Blue pillow in room had what appeared like dried on runny nose stuff. Breakfast, hash browns cold every day, gravy on Sunday cold, coffee was good. Was so so place to stay

The room was small and the bathroom was older. Cozy, with easy access off of the highway. No staff showed up for approximately 5 minutes, then housekeeping/laundry staff was leaving, and they got the front desk woman for me. That was a bit disconcerting.

When we checked in for 5 nights, the room given to us was really really small. When I went to the lobby to get ice I asked if they had a bigger room and they were very kind to accommodate us. Our only reservation was that it seemed as though there was a family living there with several kids and a large dog. It was just different to see the kids and dog hanging at the front desk.
