"A wonderful place to stay if you are in Shelter Cove. This is the third time I have stayed at this establishment. We reserve this spot every year before Hiking the Lost Coast Trail. It is a nice relaxing set up before hiking into the wilderness. Will continue to stay at this place when hiking in the Lost Coast or in Shelter Cove."

"Wow where to even start! Everything from the first question I had till the day we checked out was absolute perfection. The home itself is so beautiful and well keep. Even the clear labels on the cabinets. Let's you know where everything is but looks so tasteful with the clear labels versus white. The decoration in the home were beautiful, the beds so comfortable, fun bathtub. Beautiful views from both outside deck area and upstairs deck area. They had beach towels available for use, a Bluetooth speaker to use, instructions for everything in the welcome book! Just every detail was paid attention to. Ive stayed a a fee places along the Ca coast. By far this was our favorite trip. Traveled with my husband, 2 kids and eldery mom. Was just perfect for us. We will definitely be back!"

"It's a beautiful, well-appointed house in an incredible location. The house feels very upgrades, kitchen, bathrooms, floors, everything was in great shape, and very modern.The kitchen was incredibly well-equipped, which made cooking breakfast or dinner a joy.The location is remote, which is what we were seeking. Be warned - the restaurants and grocery options are limited, so bring must-haves with you.It was a great place to stay and relax for a while."

The kitchen was fully stocked with everything as listed, which made the stay even more convenient. Everything matched the listing perfectly. "We had a great time at Shelter Cove. Alex and Kat were excellent hosts. The house is very comfortable and well-stocked. Our kids enjoyed exploring everything around town, especially the tide pools and seals. We found so many treasures on the beach. The Black Sands Bistro has delicious food and a nice dining deck overlooking the ocean. Thanks again for sharing your amazing house. Hopefully we can come back someday!"

Oceanfront Luxurious Home, Pet Friendly, Hot Tub, Fly In and Walk from Airstrip

"Views are amazing. House was fully stocked with lots of spices, blender, coffee pot, kettle, etc. They had a sweet welcome basket of snacks which was such a nice touch :) Was amazing to be able to sit in the hot tub as we listened to the ocean crashing right in front of us. If you like a "night life" or lots of activities, this is not the place for you. It's a very small community but everyone was very nice. We drove out an hour to the Avenue of the Giants for a day trip, visited the black sands beach, visited the farmer's market on Tuesday, and spent the rest of the time relaxing."
