"Had a one night stay here on our way to a wedding. Greeted by the desk person who informed us we didn't have a reservation before even attempting to check my name or ask for any details?....once we got that straightened out, we made our way back to the room. Door from the hallway to the room wasn't flush, so it wouldn't shut or lock unless you forced it. Room was pretty dated overall (Mini-fridge was from Montgomery Ward lol) and no TV in the room don't really make this worth the money they are...

"When you're 3 miles from the center of Cook Forest, have a beautiful tent with beautiful scenery, a brand new king size bed and all the proper furnishings AND you get to cook your steaks over the campfire...who needs a hotel?Jacob was a great host and made sure we were taken care of throughout our stay. "The hotel is undergoing a refrub project so the pool and breakfast were not available. The elevators need an update. The room was nothing fancy but was clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable. The worker at the front desk was personable and nice. "

"Rustic glam off-the-grid cabin. Very comfortable, clean, and beautifully appointed. You’ll need some basics like a hair dryer, and there’s no microwave, but there is a full sized propane stove with oven. No wifi and minimal cell service, but that’s the good part! The owner had thoughtfully provided some games and cards. "
