Booked at premium rate for payment on arrival. Within days of booking the full payment had been taken from my account, then on arrival a 2nd full payment was taken. We enjoyed our inital stay not knowing we had been charged 2x. For the past month we have trying to get refund without success. Not a very happy customer with Dive Inn Resort or with Expedia

Spacious but outdated
I only stayed in this hotel for one night, so did not take advantage of many features. The rooms are spacious suites. They feel like small apartments. Oddly, you get a full kitchen but are told you may not bring in any food. The beds are rock hard and everything is a little worn and dirty. But I enjoyed sitting on my little patio. I had lots of room. The pool looked nice. Food onsite is expensive but good.

The room was tidy but not clean. The mattress was worn out with cigarette burns on the bed sheets. The bathroom was dirty and needed facelift. The breakfast was horrible and not much variety. Overall didn’t meet basic standards for tourist attractions. The Wi-Fi didn’t work most of the time. There were workers working with machinery equipments everyday at the front and at the reception, adding to extra noise.

Great hotel! It was amazing!
It was amazing! I loved the big pool and the animation in the pool, with nice songs! I also liked that they have a market next to the hotel, that helps a lot, and I like it they have a person showing the tours in Sharm el Sheikh, I booked Dahab and blue hole tour and Ras Mohamed and white island tour and I liked it a lot! It was great! The hotel is very clean! I loved it!

Too many bugs due to stagnant pond
I enjoyed this place but there are three things that will prevent me returning. 1. The mosquitoes are horrendous. 2. They use an AWFUL fog machine every night at dusk to attempt to treat the bug problem. You cannot be outside when they use the machine, it’s toxic and choking. The smell seeps into the room even if you close all the windows and drapes. PLEASE figure out how to treat the bugs that isn’t this. I would start with repairing the stagnant artificial pond feature with the disgusting green water. That is where they are breeding. 3. It rained heavily for one night of our trip. Our room FLOODED. They are seriously unprepared for rain. We were without power for hours.

They refuse my booking and say we nod deal with expedia we deal with hotel. Bit and you have to pay for us aditional money to confirm your booking the reservation ahmed say that to me i refuse he talk unpolite to me and close line i call customer service of expedia they send him many mail but he refuse let me take my room i was playing all the charge and taxes by my credit card expedia help me to book other hotel because of these man who deal unpolite with me and try to take extra money from me thanks expedia i will advice all my freind to not deal with these hotel and deal with expedia only

Hotel clean and tidy, ideal for me as we where on a Diving holiday. Please be aware that extra chargers were incurred at the hotel as the advertised web price was for Egyptian nationals, $6 a night eas added at the hotel

Just for diving but probably never again
So I’m a solo traveler and I pick my accommodation mainly by price. Aesthetically the facilities are very pretty, the pool area is lovely and well maintained and so is the dining area. The dining options are pretty solid for the price. The deep dark issues of this resort mainly come from the room itself. I think I got 20 big bites during my 5 nights there and when I woke up in the middle of the night I could hear the mosquitoes hovering over my face (at least 5 bites on my face ). The room is made up alright but the lighting makes the room feel dark. The shower curtain was kind of very awful and black spotted and needing replacement , like the toilet, although they did offer free shower caps and soaps and such.

Good hotel, nice staff and an overall great stay.
Dive Inn is a very good (4 star Egypt Tourism classification) hotel, I've stayed in lots like it and this was one of the better ones for food and accommodation. Very cosmopolitan mix of guests, lively animation team and plenty enough to do for a short visit. Pool area can be a bit noisy at times so if you like a quiet life ask for a room away from it. All inclusive was at very reasonable price so I opted for that, good food choices and not too repetitive but don't expect Eggs Benedict for breakfast or lobster for dinner. The staff are helpful and when treated with respect will help you and befriend you instantly. Hotel has; gift shop, supermarket, Bedouin tent, kids corner, gym/health club, poolside massages and a scuba diving center.

Pool - Music at the pool that loud that the speakers were vibrating. spoke with animation team asking to turn it down. they were rude and arrogant and turned the music up. Spoke with manager who justified why the music was loud. He was polite and spoke with the animation team and the music was acceptable for 4 days and then returned to the same at the start. Room- Rubbish behind the head board, clearly not been cleaned correctly. room a bit worn out, scuffs on walls damaged bed side lamps marks on doors. The bed was brick hard, ripped bed sheets. only one English channel on the tv. Nothing in the room to advise what hotel offered or what was in the surrounding area Restaurant- .chef outside with his chef uniform on. chef had his mobile phone out at food service area, walls not clean, chipped pain on walls next to food area.- they do not follow the food hygiene, Food disgusting, no choices, salad dried out, everything is served with tomatoes. Breakfast ok. I ate twice in the restaurant and both times i was sick. I went all inclusive not worth the money. I spent money eating out and ordering take away. Reception- Run down, carpet next to pool table all up, lights missing, wholes in place of where they should be. Check in slow for me, The Man who carried the bags to the room was amazing. Very polite and calm when i was annoyed. bus driver also polite and helpful. Beech disgusting staff rude

The hotel is nice the room was excellent staff was nice and cooperating the swimming pool was very nice with the music and dance training We did not use their sea shore as it is Stoney but their bus was available to take us other shores The food was not the expected with some limitation on water availability I guess it is because of saving money but all staff is polite

Terrible front desk
We arrived a little after 9. Not an unreasonable time for dinner. But their dinner ends exactly at 9pm, and they don't tell you this when you book the room. Then you show up, and they refuse to give you the dinner that you paid for! And they refuse to issue a refund. If they claim they weren't informed of our arrival time, it's because no one picked up the phone - we tried calling 3 times. Overall, the service at the front desk is abysmal. There are things they could do that would be SO easy, but they just don't care. Also, the dive company is dishonest. They claim to be certified by PADI, but they're not. They're not certified by any international regulating body - they're pretty much a fly by night operator. Aside from those points, it's good value if you book the all inclusive. But be sure to book it before you arrive because they'll refuse to upgrade you if you offer to pay the difference (bad front desk service, remember?).

Great Dive hotel
Essentially a diving holiday and catching up with friends, I didn't spend a lot of time using the hotel facilities, but from what I could see they where good. The breakfasts where good, fresh made omelettes, and crepes, toast and jams, tea was good, coffee very strong all in all a nice hotel a good 3 star

Do not stay here!
I had a horrible experience from the moment I walked in. My room wasn't ready for over 30 minutes, even though it was supposed to be ready 3 hours prior. The front desk didn't offer to watch my luggage while I went by the pool or apologize for the long wait. When I finally got to my room, the sheets on te bed were covered in something sticky, the hot water didn't work, and the door to the patio didn't lock. The front desk provided me with no information about the hotel (how much the meal buffets are, where the spa is, what times the shuttles come and go, etc). The Internet does not work in the rooms at all. You have to sit in the lobby if you want a chance at gettingn wifi. The reception is horrible, so it stops working every 5 minutes. The lobby has no air conditioning or fans and is infested with Mosquitos. I had over 70 Mosquito bites on my legs from sitting there one more for 2 hours trying to get internet. The minibar is not stocked, nor is it free like it says in the description. Overall, I had a horrible stay and would never, ever go back or recommend it to anyone.

This is a lovely place to stay. The staff are kind and helpful, the setting is very pleasant but the marketing department in Cairo is on another planet. The office there organised pickup for me but forgot to tell the hotel, promises free shuttles within 10 km but all the beaches they charge to take you to are within 10km and the only free shuttle is at 9pm. And the Wifi is unbelievably bad and frustrating.

Could find better
Staff at the front counter were not interested in helping us from the moment we arrived to check in. They first said that they could not find our booking, which we had already paid for, and while we were searching for it, they apparently found the booking but failed to tell us until we asked. Other interactions with the front desk were at about the same level. Rooms are just ok - a bit tired, but do the job, although the mattress was like a brick. Pool area is nice although they have music playing all day, which is something to note if you just want to relax.

Good value, Check-in much better
Reception check-in much improved, the hotel is great value for money. Sadly the good impression from the hotel staff is diminished by the constant hassle from the (illegal) silver taxi car whose driver is allowed to sit on hotel grounds and ask constantly for taxi business. He is not even a taxi driver and the hotel should stop this immediately. Without this the hotel would be 100% great.

It's about the beaches
Is was very a good hotel. The shuttle to the beach is quick. If you walk they're markets along the way. The pool! Was freezing!. I dunno why. It was mid January. The beach! Was hot and amazing.

Desk Staff are lovely but...
Dive Inn was not what I expected. It is adequate but certainly not a resort. I was harassed by the pool to join activities...if I want a massage I will go get one...I don't need to have a 10 minute conversation about where I'm from.

Fabulous
We've been to sharm a few times now and this is the best hotel in the area. The staff are great and will really put themselves out to make your stay enjoyable. If you love snorkelling, then the beach for this hotel has the best reef in Sharm. You'll see an amazing array of fish. A brilliant trip and no doubt we'll be back.
