The Shannon region is a visually arresting area in Ireland’s central midsection. It is comprised of the Limerick and Clare counties, which sit astride the mighty Shannon River. "Be aware that these are unused student dorm rooms. If you’re a late sleeper, each guest leaving their room in the morning will slam at least 3 doors, which can be a bother. The room and bathroom were reasonably clean. Parking is close enough, but be prepared for a 2 minute walk."
