"We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Shandaken Inn. Check in was so easy and our room was well appointed, beautiful, and had the comfiest bed and linens ever. We ate breakfast at the Inn each morning. Coffee was hot and food was great. The property is beautiful. One of the days we were there it rained all day so my husband and I sat downstairs by the fireplace and played cards. My only suggestion would be that there is a Keurig or coffee that could be enjoyed while enjoying the sitting area. "

"The room was fine, just wasn’t as clean as I would prefer. I had to wipe down inside of drawers to put clothes in, as well as the coffee maker and inside microwave. One of the draw curtains was partly off the rod so I had to maneuver curtains to secure privacy. All in all, a decent place to stay for a few nights. Rich and staff are very friendly. "

"The property was very nice. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Overall our stay was great. My only complaint would be the inconvenience about morning coffee. There is no coffee pot in the rooms and no coffee in the lobby. You have to walk to another building to a bakery to purchase coffee and they don’t open until 7:00. My husband is an early riser and likes his coffee "
