"Stillness was a lovely property which had everything we needed while visiting family. It's set in a beautiful area and there are lots of lovely touches around the grounds, such as giant chess, woodland walks and a Forget me not garden. "We loved our stay at the Riverside. Although there is no restaurant for dinner on site, a complimentary shuttle to town was very handy. The only n downside was difficulty finding the hotel. But once we arrived, our room had a lovely view of the river and Salisbury Cathefral. (I'd recommend getting a Riverview room! And don't miss he giraffe!"

"Delicious evening meal, both the tomato soup and the lamb and belly pork in gravy, very nice polite waitress. Basic bar available. Clean bathroom, very nice gel soap for bath, lovely large bed and crisp bedding No real facilities other than restaurant and the bar closes at 10. Very few comfy seats in the restaurant to retire to after dinner and these were taken over by a large group, so we had to either continue to sit at our table or go back to our room. Outside town so not an easy walk to other restaurants or bars Overall however the price reflects this and the hotel was very good value."
