"To begin with, they advertised more bedrooms than they had, and after we complained they rebuked us (but had to correct it on Verbo). It took 9 requests for them to share directions (we appealed to Vrbo) and instructions came in 10 minutes before we boarded the plane--we would have landed in the dark without access to entrance and other details at 1am. Big, unnecessary hussle. No internet in 3 bedrooms (so easy to fix but they wouldn't). Several "beds" are not beds but cheap sofas, extremely uncomfortable. The place had not been cleaned for weeks when we entered the unit. "Hosts" were unpolite and extremely inattentive--delegated issues to somebody else not always reachable. "Beach vicinity" is bogus, a 20 minute walk. We regret all this because we love visiting Israel, a fantastic place worth knowing for people of all walks of life. Just a bad experience here. "

"Staff was great. Good location near the beach. Excellent breakfast served in your room. No elevator. Smoking allowed. No soap in the bathroom when we arrived. Thin bath towel. No hand towels. Had to request a hair dryer. Remote for tv needed batteries."

"We always stay at this hotel when in Ashkelon! The staff always helps and the breakfast is amazing. Views of the sea help too… The marina is basically between the building and the sea so easy to walk to. "

"The stay was great, the water in the pool were cold. Hotels.com made us a lot of trouble. Although they declaired the price includeed fees and taxes it didn't. So we had to add extra 18% for taxes."
