  • Experience turn of the century charm in this 1905 Home that is an important part of Seward And U.S. history. National register property. Beautiful Hardwood floors, completely remodeled bathroom. Period details and charming, historic touches throughout. Views from living/dining, kitchen and bedrooms. This apartment style loft was the Original lodging for telegraph workers from U.S. signal corps in 1905 and through the 60’s. It was the original Quarters for the us army signal corps workers that operated the telegraph lines. Downstairs unit (separate entrance and apt) was the original cable/telegraph office. Walking distance to everything in downtown! Coffee shops, brewery, library, shops, restaurants, Sea Life center, park.

Prefect location with a view of the water. Easily walk to restaurants, shops, aquarium and the water. Very comfortable and all of the antiques in the home were an added bonus.

Beautiful Stay for Family Celebrations.

Again, Tanguy has aided us in creating great family memories and a comfortable stay. He worked with me in figuring out how to accommodate us and I truly appreciate it. Mostly everything we needed to cook and get cozy was provided, the view as always, soothing and the location unbeatable.

We stayed two nights. Very easy to walk to the water, just two minutes from the Sea Life Center, many restaurants. The owner communicated very quickly. The living space is large and one bedroom is fairly roomy. The room with twin beds is a little tight. Great views from both sides of the house!

We hand the 2nd floor part of the house and it was quite comfortable and had everything we needed. It is walking distance to everything. Would book again

Perfect location

Location of the property was perfect to walk around. Older quaint apartment perfect for what we were looking for near the water and town. A 20 min walk to the port for marine tours if you don’t want to drive and right next to the marine wildlife center. Gas grill is on the ground floor and this unit is upstairs if you choose to use it.

We enjoyed our stay. Apartment was comfortable and we slept very well.It is an upstairs unit and warm air may rise on hotter days (We had one of the less usual full sun days in Seward). Unit cools down fine with open windows and air from outside.Turn back the clock to the early 1900s (Vintage).Comfortable bed. Very clean.Enjoyed our stay.

Good location

Loved the location, 2 blocks from the historic area of Seward. Short walk to the inlet and the sealife park. Only down side thing was we couldn't figure out how to turn the heat on to take the slight chill out of the air. We did find an electric oil heater to use.

Cute property, but…

This house couldn’t have a better location. It was clean and charming with all of its history. However, although the house was from 1905- I was not expecting the mattresses to be from the same era. The mattresses and pillows in this house desperately need replacing. Also, there really is not much point in having a bedside lamp and clock if they are not plugged in and no extension cord is provided.
