Spacious Home on a Rushing Glacier Fed Creek

Welcome to the Golden Goose!

Nestled under the trees along glacier fed "Kwechak Creek," The Golden Goose is the perfect home base for a large group looking for a private home with all of the amenities to rest and prepare for the next great Alaskan adventure. You're just a short drive away from Kenai Fjords National Park, Exit Glacier, the Seward Harbor, and dozens of other amazing activities.

This 3 bedroom, 2 bath home sleeps 10-12 comfortably. The primary suite has a queen size bed and large private bath with a beautiful double shower and heated floors. Two more bedrooms: one with a queen bed, and one with two sets (four total) of double bed bunks, share a large hall bath complete with a jacuzzi tub and complimentary washer and dryer. The living room converts easily for sleeping with a comfy pull out sofa.

The living areas connect to a fully appointed kitchen with everything you need to prepare an evening meal. The large dining table seats 8-10 and an additional table and chairs will be available in the garage, or have your dinner or morning coffee al fresco in one of several outdoor spaces including a covered back patio.

Spread out and enjoy evening campfires along a rushing glacier fed creek.

Go for a walk on quiet streets taking advantage of the long summer days.

Phenomenal family friendly base camp for Exploring Seward and Kenai Fjord

The property was clean, well appointed with spices, pots, dishes and utensils, and indoor parking. Plenty of blankets, towels, shampoo and conditioner supplied as well as trash bags, ziplocks, etc. All three bedrooms had queen beds, with lovely bedding, blankets, etc. Shower was amazing and had heated floors.

Super clean and nice house

We only stayed for an overnight so we could do a glacier cruise, but the house is great and it would’ve been awesome to stay there for a few days and enjoy the amenities. Ryan was super easy to work with.

Seward sanctuary

Great stay. Close enough to Seward but out of any tourist traffic. Beautiful home. Great yard. Updated kitchen and bathrooms. Everything works! That’s a rarity these days. Owner always answers his texts right away.

A spectacular house close to Seward

We spent three wonderful days at this well appointed house just 9 min away from Seward. The house is in Bear Creek, and is conveniently located to all attractions. It is situated next to a stream - a great location for a walk/run and with bald eagles soaring above us. We have enjoyed our evenings sitting out in the porch, or around the bonfire set up in the backyard. The kitchen is well equipped, allowing us to make great meals during our stay. The owner is very responsive. We highly recommend staying here!
