Our family came to Seward to fish and hike and this house was just perfect for our group! It was very comfortable, the kitchen was nicely furnished and the location was ideal. We highly recommend Sockeye House!

Great place!

This house was very comfortable, spacious, and perfect for our group of 8! The location is great for walking to everything in Seward yet quiet and private. Beautiful Home

We had a wonderful stay in this property. The host was by far the most helpful and caring host I've encountered. She provided plenty of suggestions of places to eat, things to do, and a little insider information that helped us to save time and enjoy all Seward had to offer. We were wowed at Sockeye House. It was very roomy for 9 people, so clean and the host was very responsive. Perfect location. Everything was a 5 to 20 minute walk from the house. Highly recommend a couple of days in Seward if you are doing Alaska.

Hi - it has been on our family's bucket list to visit and go fishing in Alaska. What a wonderful vacation. The house was close to the marina, grocery store and wonderful shops. Our family enjoys cooking - the large kitchen was amazing. Everything for our stay was perfect from checking in to checking out. I would highly recommend the Sockeye house.

Weddings in Seward Alaska

We had an incredible time with family and friends celebrating the Marriage of two Wasilla residence. The Sockey House was perfect. It was Clean, spacious, and comfortable for a large group. The home is located between the tourist part of town and the old town making it easy to walk to dinner or shopping. The host was so gracious and accommodating. Can't wait to go back!

Great Stay

Booked a halibut charter for one of my biggest clients out of Seward and chose to stay at the Sockeye House as it looked big enough to accommodate 5 of us. Our fishing trip was cancelled due to inclement ocean conditions but the stay at the Sockeye house made up for it! We enjoyed our time in Seward and Mary Beth was super responsive and the house was so nice we enjoyed our trip even if we couldn't fish! Very clean and MB even brought us some cookies and communicated very clearly on expectations. House had plenty of space and privacy for everyone and we really enjoyed it! Would stay again!
