Authentic country house in the heart of the Balkans

Built in 1921, our house is one of the finest restored historic homes in the region and combines traditional charm with modern comfort. We have used only natural materials—such as stone, clay, and wood—to preserve the house’s authentic character. The stone roof reflects the spirit of the 19th century.

The house comfortably accommodates up to 5 people. The upper floor features 3 cosy bedrooms and a bathroom. On the ground floor, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, and a living room. In addition, there is a separate studio in the barn that can accommodate 2 more guests, making the property ideal for groups of up to 7 people.

Our house is located in the village of Selishte near the town of Apriltsi in the heart of Bulgaria. The area is small and rural, with about 10 houses nearby. The house is situated on a south-facing slope at an elevation of about 500 metres, surrounded by large forests and offering a spectacular view of the Stara Planina Mountains. You’ll enjoy the majestic peaks of Botev, Kademlya, and Maragidik. The village is located in a mountainous region, directly on the Sevlievo–Apriltsi road. The road is a third-class road with good asphalt, but it has narrow and dangerous curves. We are located near the “Central Balkan National Park,” one of the largest and most significant protected areas in Europe.
