Cozy, beautifully furnished 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath mountain cabin, easily sleeps 8 people! All bedrooms have king size beds and plenty of closet space. You’ll feel relaxed and at home because we’ve provided everything you’ll need to enjoy your stay - fully equipped kitchen, gas grill, linens, etc. Walk across the yard to the community pool and fishing lake, or grab a sandwich at their deli restaurant!

Enjoy the stunning views of the mountains from the covered porch or the large front yard. Relax in the Hot Tub on the porch and take in the mountain sunsets. No treacherous mountain roads to navigate to get to Makin’ Memories, just pull into the long, flat driveway that has parking for up to three vehicles. This is a motorcycle friendly property that is super-easy access.

Relaxing spot with amazing views!

We stayed at Making Memories with our adult children and our granddaughter. The cabin was perfect for us! The location was great for visiting Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg but allowed us to feel the tranquility of the valley. The views from the back porch were incredible both day and night. Communication with the property manager was great. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful stay with family

Our family enjoyed our stay here. It was perfect for 6 adults to have plenty of space yet be able to spend time together. We would certainly stay here again.

Fall break

We were very pleased with everything..Cabin was well stocked, very clean, and the location was great for us as we like to be closer to the park rather than Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. Would definitely stay here again.

Our family had a great time at the cabin! It comfortably accommodated our family of eight. We loved all the king sized beds, the fully stocked kitchen, hot tub, pool table, and washer and dryer. Thank you for hosting us!

Front porch Heaven

Front porch sitting-grandsons loved the pool table, lake and swimming pool! Close to everything, gorgeous views! Well stocked kitchen too. Host is great!

Enjoyed Mtn Retreat

We enjoyed our stay at Mountain Retreat. The cabin was very clean and well kept. The location in the valley was a great change to driving up steep gravel roads to get to a cabin. The lighting on the front and rear porches could be a little brighter and the grill was not as new as explained but those would be my only complaints, and they are not major issues. We would stay here again.

Great Cabin!

We had an amazing experience at Makin Memories. Joe was very informative and communicated with us throughout our trip to make sure things were going smoothly. The cabin is in a great location with the most beautiful views. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying here again!

Wonderful cabin stay!

The cabin was very clean and beautifully decorated. The back porch overlooks a large greenspace, pool and the Smoky Mountains beyond. We enjoyed several mornings and evenings on the porch in this quiet place. Thankful to have created many good memories in such a beautiful location. Thank you!

Great place for family of five

The place was nice, compared to the other log cabins in the area, because you actually got a nice piece of land where we could throw the baseball around in between having s'mores at the fire pit. There is a public pool right in front of the property which is very convenience, and you're not that far from beautiful hikes and a Dollywood Strip

Making Memories

Our stay at your cabin was very relaxing and comfortable. We chose this cabin because it is a great cabin for families. We had planned to have our daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren stay with us but they live in Tampa, Florida and Hurricane Milton changed their vacation plans. Thanks for providing such a lovely place to those who want to enjoy the wonders of the Smoky Mountains.

Very comfortable cabin in a great location

This was a spacious and comfortable cabin in a wonderful location, close to Natl Park, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. A large front yard for the children to run around in. A lovely view of the hills from the cabin. Our host was very responsive.

Wonderful mountain cabin

Makin’ Memories cabin was a great place for our family vacation in the Great Smoky Mountains! We are a family of five adults and had plenty of space and all the comforts of home. We enjoyed all the fun amenities- pool table, hot tub, furnished porch all within 5 min of the park. This home is well equipped and in a location that makes it easy to enjoy the National Park and Cades Cove. Eat at Elvira’s for fresh, homemade food too!

Absolutely wonderful!

We had a absolutely amazing time. Great location and a super informative and helpful owner. Would highly recommend 10/10. It’s just what we where looking for in a stay. Quiet, Relaxing, but just a short drive to all the fun pigeon forge and Gatlinburg have to offer. And the pool being right across the front yard was awesome! Try the Ruben at the snack shack! We will definitely be back.

A Dolly Jolly Family Christmas trip

We took our family to Dollywood for the Christmas festivities. We loved the house. It had enough bedrooms and bathrooms that each family unit had their own space. All needed supplies were provided. It was a lovely environment with lots of bears tucked here and there in the house. The grandkids loved finding them. Lots of games were provided. They got to feed the ducks in the nearby pond. Everything was well lit with a nice driveway to accommodate several cars. It was convenient to all the main attractions but yet tucked away from the hustle and bustle. We would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Makin’ Memories! The location of the cabin was perfect for visiting Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. We loved the property! The cabin itself had everything we needed (even items for our toddler) as well as being very clean. Absolutely loved the incredible view from the large porch. The spacious yard was great for our kids to run around in, we even enjoyed a game of kickball. We loved that we could just walk down to the pool…very convenient. Communication with Joe was easy and he was very quick to respond to any questions. This is definitely a place we would stay again!

Perfect Location !!!

Everything was perfect. Kitchen was well stocked. Beds are comfy. Hot tub was delightful. Location could not have been better. Close to everything yet still peaceful and quiet. Views are amazing from the front porch. Joe was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions. Parking is ample and flat. Three trucks and four motorcycles and a trailer fit just fine with plenty of room to spare. No giant hills to climb or navigate. As motorcyclist's, it doesn't get any better than this location. 1.5 miles from the Foothills Parkway with a gas station at the off ramp. Looking forward to booking this place for next year. Great experience and would highly recommend. Two thumbs up !!!

We were a family of 7, 4 adults and 3 kids(14, 8,and 2) we enjoy the fact it was very easy to get to and from Pigeon Forge. Cabin was very nice and was very roomie. The view was great to wake up to and to end the night with.

You can't go wrong staying at Wear's Valley Mountain Retreat! Beautiful cabin with an amazing view of the Smokies from the back deck. The kitchen was well equipped. The cabin was very clean and the bathrooms were well supplied with towels. The kids enjoyed the pool and snack bar. Thanks to Joe for being an excellent host. He offered many tips and recommendations for places to visit in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We would absolutely stay here again if we were to travel to the area in the future.We loved our first trip to Tennessee!
