This was the perfect stay for our trip together. You can see the care and detail into creating this little hobbit hole. This was also a very
convenient location to everything. We look forward to staying here again to try out the other houses.
This village is incredible! Check in was super easy and the place was immaculately clean. Super kid and pet friendly. ABSOLUTELY plan on coming to stay here again soon.
We are driving across country and The Shire was absolutely my favorite place we stayed. It is so fabulous with endless attention to details that create a magical environment! I loved it. It was also very clean and comfortable with an adorable well equipped kitchen. I loved it and highly recommend staying there.
The cabin was absolutely magical. We spent a good two hours just exploring all the incredible details of the place and surrounding areas. Such an artistic set up in the most beautiful area. The chicken that came to greet me while drinking my morning coffee was quite entertaining. The use of space in the tiny cabin was fantastic, and the bed was so comfortable! The only complaint I had, was wishing I could have stayed there longer, but unfortunately perfect vacations have to end eventually 😊
We loved the charm of the VRBO! While we did not expect it to be a village of tiny houses, it added more to the experience. All the decorations and layout were well thought out. Such a nice stay!
We like the concept of the place, I won't give 5 start because our place smells like cigarette and there is too much different carpets that holds too much dirt in dust my opinion. Like advertised, I saw ants, snyder and wasp. Other than that, was cool.
The Hobbit tiny house and mountain shire are adorable. The intricate details are endless. We did wish the lever-style door handle would stay locked when turned. It would unlock, and our two-year-old kept opening the door, which with our other kid being a 1-year-old and two dogs concerned us. The shower stall was a good size. We chose to stay in the pull-out bed, which was a little lacking in support. We tried the bed upstairs, which also left some comfort to be desired. We found the ceiling a little low upstairs so opted for the pull-out. The huge window view from the couch/pull-out bed had greenery but also looked at the backside of the tiny home next door, which was a little disappointing; we had hoped for a more nature-immersive private view. The wifi was a bit spotty, so the TV entertainment would lag; we ended up using our hotspot. The bathroom door fell off its track and would not stay shut unless perfectly placed; we wished it had a sturdier track system for safety and a latch for privacy. The mountain shire hobbit town is extraordinarily adorable, especially when twinkling at night. The entrance to the shire sets the mood, and the hangout spaces were well thought out. We were able to fit two portable cribs with the pull-out bed out and two dogs; it was tight, but fit. Easy check-in and the host was very responsive when contacted. We would stay again.
