3 Year old log cabin in beautiful Wears Valley. Incredible mountain views with a Spring fed creek that runs next to the cabin. Located on 15 acres of the original family who settled Wears Valley and after over 200 years we are only the second family to own this land. Plenty of room to roam, sit creek-side and take a photos on the 100 year old Antique Sleigh used at Americas First Ski Resort, Sun Valley Utah. When you get home from a long day of hiking, touring or visiting the city relax in the new Hot Tub on our covered deck overlooking the creek and mountains.

You will fall in love with this private former mini family farm as you drive down the 1000 foot wooded drive that follows the creek right up to the Cabin. The new cabin not only gives you the privacy you want instead of staying in a tourist cookie cutter development where you pay twice as much to stay within a few feet of the next cabin with nothing but concrete pavement. The privacy and views are worth the stay but you are also just a few miles from one of the main lesser known entrances to the Smokies National Park and the most beautiful Valley and location in the Gatlinburg area. Close to Cades cove, Pigeon forge and only a short drive to Gatlinburg and all the attractions without the traffic and crowded mtns filled with cabins. No steep mtn drives , yet incredible mountain views of the Smokies on all sides of the valley. This cabin built like our last cabin built on Ski Mtn after the wildfires offers all the latest amenities and is sure to exceed your expectations for some of the lowest rates in the Gatlinburg area. We also offer a second Ranch House Cabin on the same property for those who have friends or families who want to visit but want their own place. Great Stay in a Convenient Location

We had a great stay! The place was nice, clean, and in a great location—close to everything we needed. A couple of small suggestions: it would've been nice if the grass was cut before we arrived, and having a grill would have made meals a bit easier. Overall, a solid stay and we’d definitely consider coming back!

Week vacation with friends

The cabin was beautiful and well equipped. It felt like you were off the beaten path but you really weren’t. We would definitely stay again. It was our first time staying in wears valley, we usually stay in pigeon forge. We loved the area. Short drive to pigeon forge. Hillbilly’s restaurant was great for breakfast and sloppy hog had the best hamburgers.

We absolutely loved the Christmas Bear Cabin. The location was far enough away from the crazy nights of the strip, but still close enough to go be part of the crazy The cabin is gorgeous and the decorations inside made it that much more perfect. The hot tub is great for night time relaxation and the bedrooms were nice enough to recharge overnight. The communication from the owners was quick and accurate! There is nothing negative and the only bad thing i could say is, we are sad we are still not there!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for the week. The kitchen was well equipped and very organized. The whole cabin felt very clean and I really appreciated how most things were labeled (like fans, lights, cabinets). The hot tub was very relaxing and we really enjoyed how secluded and peaceful it was. We even got to see a flock of turkeys in the yard on our last night. The owners were very quick to respond to a small repair we needed done and were so easy to work with. We took advantage of the decor and celebrated a little Christmas in July on our vacation with Christmas cookies, movies and some gag gifts. We will certainly try to book one of these Christmas Cabins on our next trip to the area.

Christmas Bear Cabin

This cabin is amazing it is so cute in such a perfect location for us. Very clean and we loved everything about it. We would definitely rent again. The Christmas theme was perfect. We loved the clock in the living room. We were busy doing the Scottish Festival but would love to come back when we could just stay at the cabin and take it all in. Love that the road was not mountainous. Easy peasy in and out.

Christmas Cabin

My teen daughters and I loved it so much and we were lucky enough to add 2 extra nights to our stay because we didn't want to leave. Everything was just as described and even better than we expected. It just gave us that feeling of home and happiness. The kitchen is so well stocked right down to a crockpot and a pizza pan. We look forward to staying again because we love the area that it is in as well.
