Fall getaway

Mom and sister get away

We had a very nice time at the cabin. We enjoyed the hot tube which was nice since the weather was in the upper 55 to the high 60th and since we live in Florida it was perfect for us. The only thing that the cabin need is a good deep cleaning in the kitchen, like the kitchen sink needs some TLC and out side in the front area there was working materials that needs to be picked up. I would definitely stay here again.

21st Birthday Celebration

Booked this cabin for our daughter’s 21st Birthday. It was perfect for theme. She loves Harry Potter. The cabin was clean and a good location. We even got to see a bear. The kids loved the games, we played a lot of corn hole. It was a great place. We are planning to stay again this year. I give it a 10!

Hogwartz of the Smokies was magical!

It was great! We had an issue with the upstairs toilet, but after contacting Vacasa, it was repaired quickly! Our family thoroughly enjoyed the cabin and beautiful views from the deck!

Absolutely Gorgeous Home & Mountain Views

From the moment we drove up to the cabin to opening the front doors, it was perfect. You couldn’t ask for better views. The house had everything you would need for your stay away from home. The beds were very comfortable and the house was spacious. My granddaughter loved all the games and activities without even leaving the cabin. The drive to town was easy and very accessible to the parkway. We are already planning our trip to stay here again next year.

We love the Cedar Falls resort area. We have stayed in this area for 8 years straight now. However, this was the first time we have stayed so far up the mountain there and it is GEORGEOUS! The views from this cabin are amazing! The cabin is very spacious with plenty of nice bathrooms which made a huge difference. It was adequately stocked with toilet paper and hand soaps and kitchen supplies. Check in was EARLY and was very easy. Would love to stay here again!

The house was great. We love the back porch

Our concerns were bears that came up. They took a cake from my daughter’s car. We noticed a torn screen on the side porch where the garbage cans were. The screen needs to be fixed. We never went outside at night. The house was great. This was our 3rd time to stay there!

Great location with fantastic views, but misleading information in description

We really enjoyed our stay at the house overall - especially the views from the back porches and relative location to surrounding areas. The hot tub was clean and ready to use. Our main issues with the location were that it advertised a pool, billiards table, and fire place - all of which were either not on the property without any information of how to get to it/access it, or a gas fire place that you were required to get your own gas tank to utilize the pit without saying that in the description. There was also black mold throughout the large shower on the lower level with large spider webs throughout the shower and bathtub. Although it’s not a necessity, there were no seasonings or condiments in the kitchen (something that many other locations that we have been to in the past have provided that was an accommodating addition).

Perfect!

We had a surprise weekend get away for my mom’s 60th birthday! We had 7 people (3 couples and 1 single) The rooms were perfect and we loved all the games and the beautiful view :) My one gripe would be that there wasn’t really anything in the kitchen, save for dish and cookware. It would’ve been nice to have some coffee and condiments in the fridge. Also the driveway is very steep so be careful! Other wise we absolutely loved our stay in this cabin. Thank you

Great stay in the Smokies

We had a group of 7 stay for 5 nights. We enjoyed the Harry Potter theme and beautiful views. Lots of games provided hours of entertainment. We didn’t even turn the tv on once. We had a few small issues but the management team were quick to respond. I’ll be honest and say our bed was very firm and uncomfortable for me and my husband. Another couple said the same about their bed and slept on the futon a couple of nights. I didn’t take away stars for the mattresses because that is a personal preference but I slept great when I got home. Also the toilet on the main floor was loose but not leaking. I did report it so the management company was aware.

Beautiful home

Property was beautiful. Very comfortable. The dishes were dirty, no propane for the fire pit, did not realize there was no soap to wash the dishes and the coffee machine had pods left in it.

Downstairs hallway to bathroom floor was absolutely soaking wet. Told the agent nothing done. The upstairs heat wouldn’t run except on emergency heat told the agent nothing done. Couldn’t get the fireplace upstairs to work told the agent nothing done, overall not a good experience

Family Vacation

Our ffamily thoroughky enjoyed this property. Our group of 10 8ncluded 6 adulys, 4 grandkids, ages 7, 2-5 year old and a 1 year old. The house was large enough with 4 bedrooms which gave each family their private space and the general gathering areas were also adequate for our group size. Since the location is in the Smoky Mountains, the house rests on the side of the mountaib, (likemost houses), so no large yard space for kids to play but to compensate the house has 2 very large deck spaces that are shaded which we thoroughly enjoyed. One item that we did have to further communicate on was the location of the community pool. The Vacasa Team was super timely, friendly and helped us to locate the pool...which is super beautiful and our grandkids and young adult lreally enjoyed.
