The location of this property can’t be beat. With that being said, the rooms are tired and in need of a refresh. I’ve been staying here for years and nothing has changed. Upon check in I was given a key to a room that was already occupied. When I returned to the front desk they could no longer find my reservation and were less than helpful. I ended up on the phone with hotels to get it sorted out before they would check me in. The rooms are dank and old. Bathrooms are dirty and very basic.

The location and the breakfast were good, but the way that the hotel is divided in two buildings is very inconvenient. If you are on the side where the lobby is you are good, but on the other side there is no ramp to access the building. That was very inconvenient when we had to drag our four big suitcases up a long set of stairs. Then, you have to open two doors with your key to access such building, very crappy system. And the bell person was not very helpful at all.

Overall, facilities, views, welcome, and even the pillows on the bed - wonderful! The issue was the mattress. Hard as a rock. I have a firm mattress at home. The mattress that tortured me all night was not firm. I was scouting the resort for a family trip - but wouldn’t put anyone through the sleepless night. I was up and out as early as I could be. I did speak to front desk and even left a message for head of housekeeping, and no response to apologize for the mattress that desperately needs replacement. Gosh, my joints spoke to me for days after.

Property was fine but the flight was delayed.

This hotel was amazing from our host Charles that treated like family to the staff. The rooms super clean and spacious and super close to the main stores and restaurants.
