Lake Superior views from this private Robin's Nest in the northern woods
10/10 Excellent
"We wanted a peaceful weekend with a view and that's exactly what we got. Quiet, safe, clean-what a wonderful place to just relax. We are super thankful we were able to bring our best 4-legged buddy with us; the yard was great for him! House was stocked with everything you could possibly need. Town was close for grocery needs. The hosts were friendly and extremely easy to communicate with. Would absolutely book again the next time we're in the area."
Fully equipped apartment for short term vacation rentals!
10/10 Excellent
"Everything is right with this property host, great, location, downtown walkable to restaurants and coffee shops, clean entire apartment including entrance. It is a 150 year old apartment that is restored and updated while keeping its character. The whole place is filled with art I spent an hour examining and enjoying but still found more and more later in the stay. You therefore are immersed in Calumet history and interesting art at the same time. I have stayed in many short term rentals in Europe and US this was one of my best stays."
Spacious 7-bedroom house with WiFi, Garage, Sauna, and AC in amazing Calumet
10/10 Excellent
"We had a great visit to Calumet! The house was clean and there was plenty of room for our whole family-8 adults and 10 kids. Wonderful hosts! We enjoyed Swedetown Mountain Bike paths and hanging out watching the world cup. Visited McClain State Park to take a dip in Lake Superior. Beautiful! Plenty of parking for all our family cars, fully functional kitchen to feed lots of kids, and the sauna was a nice bonus!"
"It simply does not get more romantic or luxurious than the eagle river lighthouse. Virginia Cole is more than reliable, she is proactive, making sure that every little thing is right with your stay from the minute you decide to book until the morning you must sadly check out. You may have some sticker shock but you get what you pay for and more at the Eagle River lighthouse."

"What a wonderful surprise. Anthony, our host was incredible! Mel was awesome too! Immediate responses to any questions and the kindest energy throughout the entire process. The cabin was perfect. Clean, basic, and perfectly located to the beach. Walk outside the cabin, make a left and about 10 steps from the front door you will be able to see the beautiful, crystal clear waters of Lake Superior. Walk 30 seconds down the road and you will be at the beach. Fires roaring right on the shore, a top notch restaurant located inside the hotel Fritz, and miles and miles of Beautiful shoreline to explore in either direction. My boyfriend and I love to camp but our kids didn’t want to, so we put up our tent while they slept inside. A great compromise for different personalities. What we all agreed upon was how amazing the town was, how much there was to do, and sitting by the fire every night roasting marshmallows and laughing until we cried was definitely a much needed break! We were so sad to go home. Definitely will be coming back to stay next year! Or maybe again this year! If you have never been to the UP and want a place to stay where you can experience the full beauty of this magical land! Then this is the perfect little cabin to rent! Thank you Anthony for answering all my many questions! You are a wonderful host!!
