Maya Ubud Resort and Spa

"Maya Ubud genuinely felt like heaven. It is one of those places where the setting is as much a part of the experience as the hotel itself. The resort is surrounded by nature, rice fields, forest and the river valley, so it feels incredibly peaceful and removed from everything even though you are still close to Ubud. Walking around the property was an experience on its own. We stayed in the Maya Presidential Villa and the photos online honestly do not do it justice. It is enormous, around 950 square meters, and feels much more like having a beautiful private home in the middle of nature than staying in a hotel villa. The space, privacy, pool and surroundings really need to be experienced in person. The staff were wonderful throughout our stay, always warm, thoughtful and attentive. We had friends over one evening and the team prepared a private BBQ dinner for us at the villa. A special shoutout to Yoga or Yogal, who took care of us for the BBQ and made the evening especially memorable. Maya actually offers this as an in villa grill experience with a private chef, and I would definitely recommend doing it if you are staying in one of the villas. I genuinely did not want to leave. If you are coming to Ubud and want somewhere that feels peaceful, immersed in nature and completely different from a normal resort, Maya is very special. I would come back without hesitation."

"Our stay at Alaya Suites was exceptional I all ways! The room was very spacious and filled with amenities and personal touches. Breakfast was included and it was outstanding. The staff was beyond wonderful. The location is right in the heart of Ubud and within easy walking distance to many places. I would stay there again in a heartbeat!!"

"Soulshine Bali hotel was an Amazing experience. The hotel staff were amazing, very sweet and accommodating. They also upgraded my room for free to a better room prior to getting there so when I arrived, I was able to stay in a larger sized room with better amenities. The food was great, the rooms were great, and the Ambiance was also very cool with good chill house music. The massages were also amazing and on point. I definitely left my hotel experience, feeling relaxing, and rejuvenated. I definitely would come back to this hotel and stay again. The only thing that I didn’t like about this hotel was that they charged me triple the price for transportation- personal cab driver, that I would pay elsewhere. It was very convenient to book last minute, but not convenient with the price. Next time I would book all my transportation ahead of time to not pay triple the price for cabs to and from my adventure is around Bali and to the airport."

"The experience of staying at Bali Bohemia was not 5 Stars but 10 Stars. The location is excellent, the Service went above and beyond. The rooms and Bed are superior. Resturant was delicious. And if you need transportation ask them to schedule you with, Pak Moyo. I wish I knew more people as gracious and kind like him. He is the reason the trip was a success."

"Alami villa is paradise! Putu, Made and the rest of the team were phenomenal - from the wonderful breakfasts to helping us book the things we wanted to do and taking us around wonderful sights - often not just the tourist places, but also off the beaten track. They made everything so easy, we were able to truly relax. The villa itself is so beautiful, the pool, the outdoor spaces to sit and eat and the bedrooms were so comfortable and incredibly clean. We cannot recommend staying at Alami enough, truly a wonderful experience."

"The room was super clean. It has all of the amenities such as toothbrush, toothpaste, cotton buds etc, so you do not have to ask for anything. You get two water bottles daily, theres tea/coffee sachets in the room. They have a water dispenser in the corridor so you can refill your bottles. It really had everything you need. On arrival you have a welcome drink and sweet. The service was good. They have a gym, spa and pool. The area has affordable massage places, restaurants and shops. Overall, highly recommend if you are staying in Ubud."
