"The villa is in a small village in the hills above Podstrana, and has amazing views across to the islands and over Split. The road up from the main road takes a bit of getting used to, but once you have, it's well worth it to enjoy the peace and quiet while at the same time being pretty close to Split. "Villa Hrid is a little slice of paradise. The online pictures are spectacular but the reality is even better. Sandra and Ivica are fantastic hosts meeting us with a great welcome pack and bringing us fresh fish from the market to cook on the grill. The Villa is very well designed and equipped and all is of the highest quality. We enjoyed everything about the villa but particularly the pool area, games room/bar and the beach and kayaks. We cannot wait to return and are sorry to be leaving....
