"The Malakai is essentially brand new, beautifully designed, tastefully decorated and kept in impeccable condition by the staff. "We stayed 2 nights and were treated like royalty. The staff were all nice and friendly and attentive to our every need. I would say here again and would recommend it to anyone. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. Loved the monkeys in the morning."

"Overpriced substandard facilities. Freezing cold bedroom. Ugly architecture, dark and dingy. Dirty dark and cold bathroom. Window stained with dead bugs and dust. No heaters to compensate. Very depressing. No hot water. We were forced to to ask them to boil water and put it into buckets in order to wash ourselves by using an empty margarine container.
