Located in the center of the old village, This old oil mill, restored into a dwelling and artist's studio, offers all modern comforts in a rustic Provencal setting. exposed stone walls, beams on the ceilings, terracotta scents on the floor.
The large ground floor reception room with sofa bed, fireplace, opens onto a patio and interior garden with heated, secure swimming pool, out of sight. . At the same level a garage for 2 cars.
Upstairs a large loft-style living room, 5m ceiling, one, fully equipped American kitchen, one bedroom, one bathroom. with bath and shower, separate wc.

A large raised terrace accessible by a footbridge which dominates and spans the swimming pool.
geographic location: 20 minutes from Nîmes, Avignon, Uzès and an hour from the beaches or the Cévennes.
3 km from the "PONT DU GARD" aqueduct. 20 minutes from Collias, the start of the Gardon descent by canoe or rental kayak to Pont du Gard. Climbing.

A beautiful artist’s home ideal for visiting the region

This beautiful home has everything you need to make your stay perfect, including a fully equipped kitchen, garage, pool table, swimming pool, terrace, and plancha. The village is quite small but has a nice bakery and local walks. We had an amazing meal at the H de Sernhac restaurant and enjoyed the local wines. The master bedroom and mezzanine are ideal for 4 people. The studio flat across a small walkway above the pool and patio has its own bathroom and gives onto the terrace. M. Guide, the host, was wonderful - he gave us lots of tips for our stay and made us feel at home. He is also a very talented artist, with many of his pieces displayed around the house. A week was no long enough to see everything we would have liked to see but we did go to Nimes, Arles, Uzes, less Baux de Provence and the Pont de Gard - all of which were lovely!!

Un superbe souvenir

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans la location qui est tout à fait conforme à l'annonce et aussi confortable qu'agréable. Le patio et la piscine sont parfaitement à l'abri des regards et bien ombragés. Dans la maison, vous évoluez au milieu des œuvres de l'hôte et cela est tout à fait inspirant ou ressourçant ! L'accueil est très soigné et l'hôte est à l'écoute tout au long du séjour en cas de question. Nous étions avec nos ados qui ont pu profiter du studio pour avoir un peu d'indépendance ; ce qui est bien aussi pour les parents parfois ! Le village est calme et très bien situé pour rayonner dans cette belle région. Bref, tous les ingrédients pour un séjour au top dans une maison atypique dont nous nous souviendrons longtemps. Encore merci à Pierre et Anne pour leur accueil chaleureux !

Sehr charmantes Haus

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in Pierres Haus. Das Haus ist mit großem Charme eingerichtet und sehr individuell. Wer gerne kocht, findet alles nötige in der gut ausgestatteten Küche. Der Pool erfrischt nach einer der Unternehmungen in der wundervollen Umgebung rund um Avignon.

Volltreffer in der Provinz

Traumhaftes Haus mit vielen Möglichkeiten zum Entspannen, Billard spielen, Tischtennis, sehr schönem Pool und fast schon verwunschenen Rückzugsorten. Das gesamte Haus ist voll mit Kunstwerken des Vermieters, allein dafür rentiert es sich. Der Vermieter ist äußerst angenehm und zuvorkommend. Lage: 10 Minuten zum Pont du Gard (1,5 Stunden zu Fuß), wenige Minuten zur nächsten Stadt, Bäckerei und Pizzeria zu Fuß in 3 Minuten. Volle Empfehlung!

Maison d’artiste.

D’emblée le proprio ( Pierre) vous accueille chaleureusement, dans SA maison qu’il a rénové avec amour depuis plus de 30 ans ! Jolie maison au demeurant, avec vieilles pierres,végétation luxuriante et une multitude de tableaux de notre hôte. Côté confort , rien de manque avec en prime une jolie piscine chauffée, mais encore trop froide au yeux de ma femme… Le village de Sernhac est plutôt calme, sauf si vous êtes allergique aux cloches de l’église toute proche . Sinon, pour visiter la région, vous ne pouvez pas être mieux placé , pour déambuler dans les belles ruelles de Nîmes, Uzes,Avignon, Arles, Aigues Mortes et bien sûr sans oublier le fameux pont du Gard tout proche .

Superbe location pleine de charme.

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour dans cette maison qui a beaucoup de charme , bien équipée, la piscine, table de ping pong, billard, belle terrasse sans vis à vis .Maison calme ,très peu de passage sauf les camions poubelles plusieurs fois par semaine tôt le matin.Maison proche du pont du gard , de nimes ,et avignon.Un bon cocktail pour des vacances parfaites.

Un air d’Italie en pleine provence

Ce logement est magnifique,vaste, atypique, confortable et CALME ! Tout est réuni pour passer d’agréables vacances, rien ne manque et on sent que le propriétaire met tout en œuvre pour bien accueillir ses hôtes. Un Havre de paix

Nous avons passé une semaine avec nos deux ado dans cette très belle maison pleine de charme. Elle est idéalement située pour visiter les grands sites du coin :-le pont du Gard, Nîmes, Avignon... Le propriétaire est tout à fait charmant, l'accueil à été chaleureux et complet. La maison est dotée de la climatisation, ce qui a été cette année très salutaire avec la canicule que nous avons connu quelques jours. Nous avons bien profité de la piscine et du coin repas à l'extérieur. La literie et les divers appareils sont de très bonnes qualité.

Ein sehr schönes Haus, seht guten Kontakt zum Vermieter, sehr guter und freundlicher Service. Wir haben uns( Vater mit vier Kindern) sehr wohl gefühlt, alle waren begeistert, und durch die Klimaanlage und den Pool war es trotz 38 Grad für alle sehr schön. Und auch die Nächte besser zu schlafen als später zurück in Deutschland. Vielen Dank!

Sehr schönes Künstlerhaus mittem im Ort aber mit einem kleinen Paradies hinter den Mauern

Grosses, geräumiges Domizil mit allen Annehmlichkeiten angefangen vom reizvollen Pool, der Sonnenterasse mit Gasgrill, den sehr großen Wohnraum mit offener Küche, großer Garage. Viele Schlafmöglichkeiten und damit Platz auch für die Große Familie.

Sehr schönes ,für Ausflüge in die Provence (Avignon,Arles,Nimes) bestens gelegenes, ruhiges und auch bei warmen Temperaturen wohl temperiertes Feriendomizil. Sehr liebevoll und authentisch eingerichtet . Bei Fragen ließen sich die netten Eigner problemlos kontaktieren.

Wunderschön und viel Privatsphäre

Wunderschönes, geräumiges Künstlerhaus mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Wir waren bereits zum vierten Mal dort und es war sicher nicht das letzte Mal. Sernhac ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Tagesausflüge z.B. nach Uzès, Nîmes, Aigues Mortes, Sète usw. Im Dorf selber gibt es eine gute Boulangerie mit feinen Croissants und Baguettes. Ein paar Kilometer weiter gibt es diverse gute Restaurants.

Loved this home

This house is charming and the owner, Pierre, is lovely. It is located in the tiny commune of Serhnac, 3k from Pont du Gard. Good base for a week of exploring this part of Provence. House is very well equipped with lovely bedrooms and pool. Modern kitchen and washer dryer. The only downside-and it is a very slight drawback-is that there are no restaurants in this tiny town. However, the charm of the place more than makes up for it. I hope to stay here again!

we could not have asked for a more beautiful home for our trip through provence. It was even better than we had dreamed. Pierre was a wonderful host, prompt with all communication and directions. The home was clean, well maintained, beautiful and comfortable. It was convenient for traveling to towns in provence such as St. Remy, Gordes, Roussillon, Avignon, Uzes etc. Plenty of room for many people. Modern appliances available, clean warm pool, and very effective air conditioning. Highly recommended and would love to go back some day. Thank you Pierre for a wonderful stay.
