This hotel it’s in the middle of the shopping district, 5 min walking distance to subway station and bus station, also you can walk up to Seoul tower. That hotel is clean , provides shampoo and conditioner,you can leave your baggage after checking out.

Convenient location in the heart of Myeongdong, 3 mins walk subway exit 6 and underground markets. If you are someone who goes to sleep early, it's not for you. Music around the area goes on until midnight every night rain, hail or shine. Food around the area quite expensive and restaurants are tourist traps. Walk about 20 mins away from the area and go to local food joints. Property itself is nothing special, there is a convenience store located on the ground floor. Not every flexible around late check ins, they wanted to charge me additional 25k per hour for late check-in, they do help you to leave your luggage in the lobby.

The hotel is in the shopping street. it's perfect for crazy shopper. Everything is so conveninece, food, subway, airport bus. Entrance of the hotel also have 24 hours conveinence store. Staffs are helpful and friendly. We'll stay here again if dont have limit budget. :P

I am only giving it an overall 4 stars because I nearly split my head open on their restroom upper door frame (more than once). If you are tall (I am 5”10), then know that there is a very significant step to get into your bathroom (which is common in a lot of hotels in SK apparently, but this one was almost knee high). If you wake up disoriented at night and do not turn on the light…you will know what I mean. Other than that, service was great, hotel clean, staff nice, they stored my luggage when needed and helped me with directions. It is right smack in the middle of Myeongdong and right across a currency exchange place. I greatly recommend this hotel and think it is a good value.

Savoy is right smack in the middle of Myeong Dong. And at the ground floor of Savoy, is the famous soy marinated crab. The convenience store and coffee place is right at the hotel! So convenient

The location is what makes this property great. Close to the subway (if you’re comfortable navigating it) but walkable to everything. I personally love Insadong and it’s less than a 20 min walk away. Smack dab in Myeongdong, you can’t beat it for shopping and dining. Like other reviews, the walls are pretty thin, but we use white noise for the kiddos so we didn’t hear anything. And likewise, the smell of cigarettes can seep through the bathroom since there’s no ventilation, but we just kept the bathroom door closed at night. I can’t complain about something I knew coming in but still have to knock down a star since it’s not regulated. Front desk service is average, the day time crew is nicer. The dryer by the convenience store ate my money twice but the front desk helped resolve it (had no issues with coins, it was paper money that gave me issues). Just a warning we had to dry our clothes twice each time. Also, not sure if it was just our room, but the outlets couldn’t handle my laptop for work. It was dying as it was plugged in, just a note for any remote workers. For the price and location, it can’t be beat though. I’d stay here again if the price is right, you just have to compromise on a few things, which didn’t bother our family too much since we pretty much used it for sleeping. Water pressure and temp was great. Fridge is dorm size but we made it work. Towels were soft and slippers are provided. Luggage storage service was awesome.

It's a great stay. Room is cleaned every day and the deluxe twin is spacious. I wish they allow guests to check in earlier, even if for a fee, as it can be tiring after flight. Nevertheless, it is located in Myeongdong hence you can kill time easily. This is my second time staying in Savoy and I will definitely choose this hotel again.

Clean rooms. Staff were very helpful and responsive. New towels and room cleaned everyday. Steps from the Myeongdong night market, shopping and dinning. 24 hour market on site made essentials convenient. Would stay again. Rooms could use a bit of updating.

Savoy Hotel looks old but clean and is right at the Myeongdong shopping area. There was no toothbrush in the room. Also if you book the room with breakfast, its just continental (waffle, sausage and egg) or korean porridge at the 2nd floor beansbins coffee shop. You're better off having your breakfast at the nearby cafes.

Excellent location right in the heart of Myeongdong, but as it is at one end of a street, it is not very noisy. The room is spacious. Water pressure is good. The bed are comfortable and i like they they provide 2 pillows per pax. Very near to Myeongdong station, and if you prefer escalator, exit 7 is the one.

I am very pleased with my choice of location. We walked to many places of interest from our hotel, such as Gwangjang and Namdaemun Markets, Hanock Village, City Hall, Deoksungung Palace and many more. Seoul Station was also within walking distance - we took a fast train from there to Incheon Airport. On our way to the station we walked over Seoulo 7017 which is also a tourist attraction (pedestrian viaduct with trees and flowers). The hotel itself was located in the centre of Myeong-dong area, with lots of shops and places to eat.

The staffs will greet you upon approach and were professional and friendly. Although, they can speak and understand English, it was still a little difficult to communicate fluently. The room was small, but big enough for one! There is a blow dryer inside the cabinet, a kettle with two cups on the bedside table, a tv on the wall and huge mirror, the washroom was clean with folded towels, and free amenities - making my stay quite enjoyable. Outside in the hallway there should be a water dispenser where you can fill up your water bottle. Housekeepers were very cute as they would greet you every morning. What's convenient about this hotel is the location. There is a convenience store downstairs, 5 mins walk to the subway station line 4 & perhaps 15 mins walk to subway line 2, and a restaurant connected to the hotel's elevator from inside or you can enter from outside too. The street is lively at night with all the street vendors and lights illuminating from stores. Comfortable, safe, convenient, great location, would stay here again in the future
