the room's atmosphere was dark. bath towels were ripped and dirty. the bed size was so small for one adult that I couldn't turn over. in addition, AC was dusty.

For my 9 days stay there I requested once to change bedsheet. I don’t think it’s been changed cos the stains are still on the bedsheet. I asked for vacuum service but ever time I get back to hotel, I see more hairs not belonging to me

My second night in the hotel. I booked a bigger room. I enjoyed it very much. The light in the bathroom actually worked. I checked out the roof garden, which was very nice and gave a nice view to the tower. Will come back in the future for the cheap price.

Was a good hotel. Room was kind of small, but worked for me alone. The light in the bathroom was really dim, which I did not like. Besides these issues, was an okay hotel. Was very close to the food market and about 20 minutes from the tower. I would come back for the cheap price.

Bedsheet and pillows are yellowish and dirty
On the arrival, I was given a room at level 4, the room was not matching the photo of the room . When we rest on the bed , we immediately feel body itching. We found the pillows were yellowish and also bed sheet with dark marks. Carpet is worn. Wall has cracks. The room is so terrible , I asked for refund and cancellation and intend to move to other hotels immediately. I could not live in this slump room for 7 days. then the hotel try to solve problem , said , upgrade me to another room. At last, they showed us two other room, the first one's bedsheet also had dirt and black marks and yellowish pillow case. I refused to accept. The second room at level 11 then seems all pillows and bedsheets are white and looks more clean ( they did not upgrade me), I said I will try one night. the following 6 nights were ok . I do not have itching feeling. But, I did not dare to ask for changing bedsheet. Can't trust it. this hotel bathtub make lots of water on floor. However, The service of the reception is great and helpful and speak very good English.

It was a good place to stay based on the location and it was much cheaper considering the other options. The hotel isn't amazing but it will do just fine. The rooms are smaller but can be expected with the price. Great location as it is very close to tons of food.

I'm an American and this was my first time in South Korea staying at 3 different hotels. This was my experience and observation at this particular hotel. Pros: Walkable with luggage from the Seoul train station once you take a short subway stop, close to a lot of food areas, safe and quiet, credit card laundry (~$3 USD to wash or dry cycle), mini fridge, heated toilet seat Cons: Room size is small, not much room to walk around or set luggage other than on bed. Everything in bathroom is small and cramped, no sink area, shower tube is small. Glass door is not sound proof so you can hear everything from the bathroom. Weird/Different: You must insert your keycard into the keycard slot when entering the room to activate the electricity (cost savings). What this also means if someone leaves the room and take the card the electricity don't work anymore so must plan with your group accordingly unless they offer to give you more keycards. Overall it was an okay stay for the price we paid. Very central in the area and you can catch multiple buses and trains to do what you want to do, just wished the rooms were bigger and had more amenities.

Dirty and so unclean. The sheets have stains on it. The carpet have stains on it. The walls have stains on it. The shower head is rusty and mould is everywhere. If you want to stay in a literal 2 star hotel, this is the one!! We asked for our sheets to be changed but they were not. The walls are also paper thin and could hear people laughing every night. The towels are also so old and have holes in them. The wifi is unreliable and so slow at times as well. The only good part of the stay was that it was close to a lot of food and it was an easy walk to Myeongdong.

There was only one hotel card key provided for the room even though we had 3 pax. It was very inconvenient if the 3 of us travelled to different places in the day and the one who had the key returned later. Also, there was no security in the hotel. Anyone could go up to the higher floors if they wanted, they did not have to tap the hotel card key in the elevator to gain access. The hotel staff did not seem very friendly, but the housekeeping staff were quite friendly and nice. Also, we tended to get back to our hotel room quite late (around 9 plus to 11 plus), and whenever we wanted to contact the hotel staff through the phone in our room, we were not able to. We went down to see them, but there was no one there. There was a stand that said they were not around and that we could contact the hotel number to get in touch with them. We tried calling, but no one answered. We got the duplex triple room and realized that the room was actually quite small. There was no space to sit and eat, and it was hard for the 3 of us to retrieve things or pack our luggages at the same time.

This hotel is in a safe and quiet place. It is located right next to a 24/7 convenience store and within walking distance to Myeong-Dong station/airport bus stop. My only complaints are the floor carpet looks old and I keep having flies and fleas in my room since check-in.

The hotel is ok. It is in a great area however the hotel itself is quite run-down and old. Many things could do with refurbishment. If you are looking for a cheap place to stay next to Myeongdong then it is great. If looking for something a bit higher quality, then this is not for you.

STAZ Hotel literally saved me when my original hotel cancelled my booking and Expedia had to look for a new hotel. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I never felt nervous to approach them. The cleaning staff were also very friendly, always saying hello and doing a great job. The coin laundry was very simple to use and not that expensive. The area is very central and close to a lot of tourist places/attractions, with a lot of transport options available. Myeondong is a very tourist friendly area with a lot of cafes, restaurants, shops and social areas. The only negative is I believe the restaurant was closed while I was staying there so I wasn't able to experience that.

Great location! Hotel is located in a quiet street within walking distance from the hustle and bustle of Myeongdong shopping street. Very good customer service at hotel reception. All staff speak English and are always happy and friendly. Unfortunately, the room facilities need are quite worn out and needs to be replaced, especially the carpet. Staz II would be an excellent place to stay in Soeul if some refurbishment was done to the rooms to refresh the property.

The staff went above and beyond trying to keep your room clean each day and were always offering to help out. The location was near multiple train stations and a quick walk to the heart of myeongdong but still quiet.

This is my second time stay in this hotel. Service still maintain good, you can feel comfort and save. Double bed riom is large enough fir two people.Location is convenience .

The washroom is too small. The bath itself was unbalanced, making it incomfortable to use. The location on Google Map is incorrect, making it difficult to find at night. The bed is comfortable and the room is clean
