The AC Hotel in Gangnam is a great hotel. Located in Gangnam, it has easy access to food options and shopping within a couple blocks of the hotel. It also offers access to some sites that might not be on your traditional Seoul itinerary in Bongsuensa Temple and the royal graves of Seolleung, Jeonghyeon, and Jeongneung. It’s also a 30ish minute car ride from Seoul proper. The staff were amazing, and I’d like to thank Jinny at the front desk for helping me at both check in and checkout. Highly recommend the AC Hotel if you’re looking at visiting Seoul.

This AC Hotel is located in the Gangnam area of Seoul. It has plenty of good dining options within easy walking distance. It also has a good restaurant at the hotel, which certainly serves a very good buffet breakfast with many Western and Asian food options. The staff at the hotel are excellent. Outside of the Seoul rush-hour the AC hotel is approx 1 hour taxi ride from Incheon airport.

Had the opportunity to enjoy a 8d7n stay due to a business trip. One of the best hotels within this price range in South Korea, at least from my own personal experience. Rooms were decent, breakfast buffet spread was good, location was convenient with just a short 2mins walk to yeongsam station. They also had a business lounge for guests with coffee/tea, perfect environment to engage in some work.

Safe and worthwhile choice
Everything was beyond above. However, the room required AC and if you turn it on, even if you set the temp at 25 Celsius, it would be too cold and if you turn it off it was too warm. The corner room they gave us was also rather small (the view was good but still the room was too small).

It was well situated in Gangnam. Very clean, nice design. Areas are restricted though if you aren't a guest and they charge if you want to have access to separated areas. That was a bit irritating, also as these areas only had a basic coffee machine / offering I wasn't clear why they would charge. Public area seating was too small.

A quality hotel in Gangnam
A comfortable hotel in a good location within Gangnam-gu. The rooms are reasonably sized and clean and tidy, the roof top bar is nice and gives good views of Gangnam. Breakfast was good quality and the members area for coffee, sitting etc is a nice touch.

AC Hotel provided the best hotel experience. Great Staff and really helpful and thoughtful. Rooms were clean and is truly my go to hotel now when I am in Seoul. Very good location with restaurants, cafes, and subway access.

Disappointing service
They tried to charge me a different price to what I had booked. (Over £400 difference). They kept on telling me my freight was not there when I know it arrived a day earlier than myself. This caused problems for my work. The staff were a little lazy when I asked for help with the subway, just pushing use of a taxi. I just needed help, I could navigate it if they’d helped me. I felt it was because she couldn’t be bothered speaking English. As I wasn’t able to check out late without a charge, I asked if I could use the sauna shower room as I’d been working all day and had a 33+ hour journey ahead of me. The member of staff tried to charge me for this. I pushed back and didn’t end up paying. I just thought it was quite an unkind way to treat someone. Location and quality good. But staff service could be much improved.

Location was perfect. Enjoyed water and a couple of beverages that they provided for free. The room was very clean. Staffs were kind and awesome. Easy check-in. My favorite part was steam iron they had in the drawer. The room was very tiny but it was perfect for me to spend a night. I would like to recommend this place to my friends.
