I booked a twin room. It comes with a giant 2 person bathtub, which is the highlight of the room. Everything is quite clean. It was definitely worthy of what I paid. The location is amazing! Right next to namyeong station and close to convenience store and many different restaurants. Only 1 station away from Seoul station and few stations away from all the tourists attractions. And it is very close to the airport shuttle bus station, which makes it so easy to get to the airport!! The only thing is that the front desk doesn’t speak much English but they tried their best to help out on things. They were helpful.

If you can walk, you can find it. Turn right great restaurants, turn left great restaurants, turn right or left subway station to carry you anywhere within the city.

The condition of the room was very poor; most of the bathroom furnishings were made of decaying wood. The remote control for the TV and air conditioner only worked if I twisted it while pushing the buttons. The 6 light switches were very inconvenient.

My bed was comfy (I seemed to luck out with a pillow top mattress - others in our group had rock hard mattresses), and the room was fairly clean. They did not clean around the base of the beds or under the couch, so don’t look too closely. The bathroom is only separated from the main room by a half wall, so if you’re sharing the room with someone other than a significant other, it’s somewhat awkward. Our tub leaked water out of the base of the tub so he floor was always soaked after a shower. The shower is in a jacuzzi tub, and the shower head is really low. I think the room was designed for baths over showers, but the jets didn’t work. The staff was friendly and responsive. There’s a free guest washing machine in the basement. The dryer costs 1,000 won per load. It’s really close to the Namyeong subway station and lots of good restaurants. The room wasn’t really up to American hotel standards, but from my experience with foreign travel, it was a pretty normal experience.

Rooms are small and there wasn't a window in the bedroom. Everything was getting old. Not worth the price. Love motel.

Room is verify small and hotel is in a back/side/street. Room sheets were not clean... building is very old with tones of stains... will not stay or recomend this place. Over priced!

Convienent location for a tour that I was taking, wifi was great, beds are hard, only a partial divider between the bedroom and bathroom, shower was leaking and sprayed water everywhere.

They tried...
Stayed on a floor directly next to another building where they could look into my room. Not happy about that. Told them about the mold and water build up in the room around the tub and from the toilet; they offered another room with even more mold. That was before they told me the fee to change rooms. The next day, I found accommodations elsewhere. I'm not going back and I'm not recommending anyone go.

Extremely Convenient and Comfortable
This hotel has received some very negative reviews, but I had an amazing stay. The hotel is located about a 3 minute walk from Namyeong station and a 10 minute walk from Samgakji station, making it extremely convenient to access many places in the city or even walk to some major culture areas. The room itself was clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable and the sheets, cover, and pillow were all very nice. The bathroom was excellent. The large tub was extremely relaxing and the shower was nice and convenient in the morning. As many people have said, the Jacuzzi doesn't function, but the tub itself was more than enough for me.

Ok for the cost.
The cost is low so I didn't expect much, that is what I received. If you need a place to lay your head that just gives you the basics, it will work. The room, although in need of repair, was clean and did the job for me. I would stay there again if the need arises.

A comfortable stay in this 'Love Motel' near the US base in Yongsam. The room was good with a lovely jacuzzi double bath but unfortunately the jacuzzi bath was not working. The cleaning of the room could have been better.

Spider webs lined the top of the bathroom walls. Slight insect problem. Cleanliness needs to be addressed as well. Not one of my best stays.

The room was comfortable enough but there was some chipped paint on the walls and the bathroom needs a good scrubbing. But the location is excellent and it's equidistant to both Seoul and Yongsan stations. I might stay here again in the future.

Unsatisfied you lost my vehicle for a day
Just as previous guest the "Love motel" wasn't clean. Very old and dusty, Jetted Bathtub in two different rooms did not work and after four long days of teaching college classes I so wanted the drink wine in the "Jacuzzi". The parking attendant/Room servant/doorman/laundry attendant lost my vehicle and forgot where he parked the only Chevrolet in the Hotel - after twenty minutes and me risk being late for my first day of class I had to find a cab to get me to the university- very unsatisfactory. To add I was quoted $65 USD per night for a during the week four night stay and was charged over $78 USD for each night - this was no where mentioned on the site. The front desk clerk says the extra is taxes - this should be listed, if so then maybe fewer would stay. If you want to take a dare then chose the Elle Inn Seoul Hotel, if not then stay elsewhere.

Never stay at the Ellen hotel.
This was not a good hotel. I was robbed by the taxi driver. He drove off with my purchases in his trunk. When I asked the hotel to assist me calling the taxi company, the clerk called and gave me the telephone. The clerk stated she did not speak english and could not help me. My merchandise was stolen. The hotel was familiar with the taxi company aafes.

Our hotel itself was okay. It was clean and the room was a good size for us as a couple. However, we had a jetted tub ("jacuzzi" if you want to be fancy) in our room, and it didn't work. If you read other reviews for this hotel, there were many other patrons with the same problem. =( The shower rack in the bathroom area had some trouble staying up as well. I had to fix it multiple times during our stay, haha. Also, the breakfast lounge needs more people working in it! There was only one woman working there at the time we came down and no one to greet us, or to welcome us. We had to call out to the women in the back for at least 10 minutes before she finally heard us. We thought it was closed and we were about to leave, so thank goodness she finally came out when she did. Other than thos things, its okay. I wish that I could have gotten a few more perks for what I paid for though, haha.

In the photos and also in some other reviews I read, it said that there were in room jacuzzi tubs, which is the only reason I picked this place. There were in room jacuzzi tubs but they were not working in any room in the whole hotel. I even made a note when booking the room to contact me if the jacuzzis were not working because it was the only reason I booked this place. I wasn't told until I got there and asked at the front desk. None of the tubs blow water, so if that is what you are after, look elsewhere.

The room was decent for it's location. It is hard to find a location that close to Yongsan. I would have expected a little better though. Bedding had a cigarette burn in it. Next time I will just take a cab and stay a little further away in a different hotel, cabs are so cheap after all.

The room is way too pricey for the quality. There's no door between the room and the bathroom and the sink is in the middle of the room, facing the beds. So when you're washing your face or brushing your teeth, you'll be looking at your roomie awkwardly. On top of that, you can't turn on the heater in the room. It was freezing cold at night so I called the reception to ask how to turn on the heater, they said it's central heating system. They told me they'll turn up the heater but apparently they didn't. It was sooo cold till the next day morning. I will never ever stay here again. It was so not worth the money I paid for.

Last Days In Seoul
Hotel staff was great, if we needed anything it was just a call to the front desk away. Plenty of cafes and restaurants within walking distance and just a short 5 to 10 minute cab drive to Itaewon. Best feature for me was the jetted tub in the shower for relaxing after a long day of walking around checking the sites.

This hotel was just okay...nothing special. The lighting controls in the room were a little confusing. (The light above the bathroom sink did not work at all) The breakfast in the basement bar was above average, but the surrounding area had plenty of food choices.

I really enjoy the hotel. The rooms are nice and comfortable and is in a great location. I did have one dissatisfaction with my stay this weekend. I was there to play in a strenuous softball tournament. I wanted to relax in the jacuzzi tub after the games. The tub in my room was not working. I told the receptionist about the non working tub. The reply that I got was, "I'm sorry, this place is old." If I decide to stay there again, I will check the tub upon checking in.
