"Absolutely charming place. The gardens are lovely. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was modern and large. Every part of the house looks like a quaint picture! Amazing place. It is also close to some of “Portugal Farm Experiences and Tours”. "

Signage to the reception at the property could be clearer but it is a prominent building in the small village. Breakfast was very good although the absence of tea / coffee amenities in the room meant you had to access them from a common area at cost (expensive). "Our experience at the Silverside hotel was very relaxing and it was just perfect after a week in Porto. There was rain from beginning to end of our 4 day adventure, but loved to come back at this hotel to relax and unwind and mostly heat-up! Thank you Loren o for all you special attention!!"
"We Absolutely loved our stay here! Everything at the hotel was amazing. Very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We felt welcomed and only wish we had more time to stay for a longer time. We had a villa which was incredibly lovely. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. Location was in a quiet peaceful area but also close to the village in Alcobaça with all the cafes and shops. 100% recommend and we will absolutely stay here again when we visit the area. "

"The beach access is amazing!! The hotel would do well to have the restaurant fix their chairs because staying above the restaurant all you hear all day and night are the chairs scraping across the floor. Besides that hotel is clean, convenient, AC worked well. The area around is nosy (my room was ocean view) so it's to be expected that you hear all the action. We also had a balcony (not many rooms so) and I found that really worthwhile to people watch at night! "
"This place was wonderful! Elenisa was super friendly as well as all the staff. The place was exceptionally clean and well taken care of and breakfast was terrific with buffet style including scrambled eggs, bacon, fruit, breads, meats, cheeses and cereals etc. Comfortable beds, great pool and bar area. Only a few minutes walk to the beach. Highly recommend staying here! "
"The staff was awesome two things i recommend they should offer golf cart ride to the spa which is 300 meters a way from the hotel after a relaxing treatment no one wants to walk up a hill in the hot sun back to the hotel and the outside of the spa needs to be landscape to a more zen setting it looks like an abandoned fishing cabin "
