"This is a very comfortable and pleasant stop. The outside of the building and the parking lot could definitely use some attention and the pool is inoperable, but the room was big, clean, and comfortable. The attendants were very friendly. They provided bottled water due to a local boil-water advisory. There are a couple of restaurants within less than a mile. I'll definitely stay there again when passing through Hiawatha."
"The property seems to attract alot of railroad workers. It does not have a free breakfast, but does have "Penny's" a nearby 24-hr restaurant. Initially I was booked to stay in the lower level of one building. The motel manager managed to get the booking changed to the upstairs of an adjacent building. This building appeared to have new carpet and paint. However, the A/C in that room was not working properly. I checked again with the manager who assigned me a different room in the 2nd building. My stay in that building was clean, quiet, and comfortable. I was traveling for business. The "Penny's" diner nearby had good service for eggs, sausage and hash browns for breakfast. Local workers and farmers often eat there."

"Perfect get away from the noise of the city! So peaceful and relaxing!Debbie and Howard are very nice and thoughtful, good people. I could not find a toaster, only thing I missed. Would definitely stay there again!"
"This is our second time staying here and it was just a good the second time! Even better! They added a snack basket and coffee bar that I don’t remember. The towels were nice and fluffy. I like that they provide different types of pillows. This is our go-to when visiting family in Sabetha."
"Everything was very good here with lots of special details. The only thing that they could improve on was the breakfast and it wasn't that bad. Just could be more. 5 stars all around."

10/10 Excellent
"We truly enjoyed our stay. The pond was very pleasant and meticulously maintained. The lodge provided ample space for our group of six adults, in addition to two newborn babies. We would be delighted to stay again should we find ourselves in the area in the future."
