"Bad communication and unfriendly staff"

"Great place to stay for a quick stopover. Located next to all of the important places. It is really noisy in this area, but it was something I anticipated and brought earplugs. They worked great and I slept well!"

"This is an old a little run down but for transfer divers it is great . My dive resort offered to pick me up at the airport the next morning for free , I opted to pay a taxi driver 50RM , about $15 USD . So worth it because the town is fun at night , many local restaurants, many gift shops , even a place to exchange money . Massage was about $25 USD , legitimate massage . The seafest hotel is at the ideal spot but that was sold out . This one was perfect , I even had a great view of the water . Keep in mind the other half of the rooms face the street , but a busy vibrant street ."

"The hotel is in a very noisy area. With dogs barking on and off during the night. It didn’t help that the windows were closed the noise still came through. Room was small but clean what we needed for the night. We were plagued by children begging in the envions. What would be useful in the information for this hotel was that a 100 MYR cash deposit was required to be paid before getting the room. We did ask to have a late check out but it was refused as the hotel was full. The staff did assist with getting our baggage to the hotel from a nearby office."

"We stayed in a twin room. While not large, it was as expected. The room was clean and the beds very comfortable. Air conditioning was very efficient. Great value for a comfortable stay where we didn’t intend on spending a lot of time in the room. "

"Much better than expected after reading the other reviews. By standards of Semporna, this hotel is very good. My room was very spacious, comfortable and clean. The staff members were nice, but completely failed at the one thing people actually come to Semporna for - information about day trips to the nearby islands. It felt like I was the first person to ever ask them about going to Mabul or Mataking. To be fair all “sales” people in Semporna were like this so not just an issue in this hotel. "
