Welcome to the Residenz Waldidyll, located in the beautiful seaside resort of Sellin on Rügen on the Baltic Sea. The Residenz Waldidyll is situated in a quiet area not far from the town centre.
The construction of Sellin’s historic pier in 1906 was an important milestone in the history of this Baltic Sea resort. With its elegant architecture and a length of nearly 400 metres, the pier has become a landmark and attracts many visitors who come to enjoy the picturesque scenery and the fresh sea air.
Over the years, Sellin has developed into a popular destination for those seeking relaxation.
The graceful architecture of the villas and hotels from the Wilhelminian era lends this town a special charm. Today, Sellin offers not only a variety of recreational activities such as swimming, sunbathing, and strolling along the promenade, but also a selection of first-class restaurants and cafés that guarantee visitors a pleasant stay.
The Granitz is an impressive oak forest in the southeastern part of the island of Rügen, featuring majestic giant trees and picturesque hiking trails through the forest and along the cliffs. The highlight of this natural paradise is the Schwarze See, surrounded by dense forests. Its calm surface reflects the beauty of the surroundings and invites you to take a stroll. Schwarze See is not only a popular tourist destination for nature lovers but also a place of peace and reflection. Surrounded by the peaceful atmosphere of the forest, this is a place where you can escape everyday life and enjoy nature in its pure beauty.
